Project-1: Web Registration

Federated Investors’ Inc is one of the nation's largest investment managers .Who has honed its disciplined investment

process to deliver style-consistent investment products, including 147 domestic and international equity, fixed-income and

money market mutual funds, as well as a variety of separately managed accounts. Federated's diversified product line is

distributed through more than 5,400 financial intermediaries and institutions who assist investors in meeting their unique

objectives. This is a project to update, upgrade and add new Features/functionality to the new FII web site.I was brought to

identify, design and develop component and template for new web site using Interwoven TeamSite, SitePublisher/LiveSite

and also to enhance their exiting Workflow implementation to reuse it for new Web Registration Clean up Project.

Project-2: Collective Investment Funds

Federated Collective Investment Funds project was about creating a new “Collective Investment Funds” section on the

website.As part of this product set, a new qualified investor certification page should be presented to the user to

accept/decline whenever they select a fund in this section. Lastly, there are several content and format changes to the current

underlying reports/pages that are specific to the Collective Investment Funds (CIFs).I was hired to analyze there existing

system & suggest the best practice for Interwoven teamsite content management & to automate their existing process

through workflow.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze the current implementation & discuss issues with the clients.

• Was a part of team play for installing, configuring and integrating Metatagger with Teamsite.

• Involve in defining Meta data rules, Templating strategy and Configuring Metatagger to generate Content-Based

and Taxonomy-Based Tags.

systems and technical services. I was brought to Kennametal to analyze and suggest enhancements of their current

implementation of their website using TeamSite.

Responsibilities:

Went through the current implementation.

Discussed outstanding issues with the client.

Enhanced the workflows by including custom logic in the beginning of each workflow. This accommodates

multiple user roles to start the same workflow and take different paths.

• Devised a method to automatically name the DCR’s and generate the corresponding pages.

• Analyzed the approval process and designed additional workflows that can be used.

implementation. The Team Site Content Management System (CMS) is providing key features in creating, maintaining &

publishing all authored content to the Web Sites & application servers through on demand & schedule deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the requirement gathering & design phase for the different modules of the project

• Involved in effort estimation for the project.

Prepared team site functional Specification for the new Nortel website.

Installed & configured Open Deploy product on remote server.

application servers. The role of the CMS is vital to the success of http://wyndham.com/ Hilton’s businesses. Content

publishing is also doing the advanced functionality of incorporating the data from remote systems in some instances along

with the normal content management publishing cycle. Content deployment was occurring on demand as well as on a

scheduled cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Involved in the design Phase of the publishing process.

• Prepared team site functional Specification for the new Hilton’s website or for enhancement in the current website,

coordinated with the application development team to synchronize the flow & the format of the data.

• Involved in the Multiage generator and Dynamic Navigation page design.

(PSEG.com) and internal (infocentral.com) to serve as an interface between its customers and employees. Content is

organized within Interwoven in 4 different branches and several sub-branches within the main branches. There are over 24

data-categories and 60 data-types, 10 process workflows with over 200 real time deployments to 14 web servers daily.

Responsibilities:

• Work at a senior capacity to provide solution for content management processes and analyzing requirements,

preparing project plan.

Description:

Project was to create Strategic Enterprise Information System in order to deliver the most up-to-date and accurate business

information to the traders. It allows content contributors to contribute content via a browser based front-end. All content

goes through a content approval process where the validity and the accuracy of the content are checked. The validation

system uses the workflow template strategy to automate notification process and to trigger the successor tasks

unconditionally or conditionally. The system allows de-linking of the content generation sub-system from the content

presentation sub-system to guarantee consistent look-and-feel across the corporate web site.

manual intervention required from Empire in supporting the Broker by providing a Web based Interface, so that the Broker

can take care of some of the activities involved in selling a healthcare product to Empire’s end customers.

Responsibilities:
