My roles and responsibilities as Sr. Application Developer:

• To perform analysis and study of the end-user business requirement and translating

Mainframe and SQL server.

Assurance and implementation in Mainframe and SQL server.

My roles and responsibilities as Software Specialist:

• To perform system study of old system and analyze the requirements of new system

which includes requirement gathering, data mapping from old AIMS (IMS-DB) to new

SAMS (DB2) for Conversion project.

• To involve in preparing requirement modeling, database design for new system.

• To lead the team of 4 resources at onsite at first phase for requirement gathering,

database design, wrote pilot tools for analyzing. Identifying the number of routines, DB2

stored procedure required for conversion project in COBOL DB2.

• To leading the team of 25 resource (3 onsite and 22 offshore) in second phase, which

includes distribution of work amongst programmers, perform coding and supervise the

development, testing and delivery of modules.

• To involved in all the project deliverables as per SLA in terms of functional specification,

program specifications, code, Test Plan and Test Case, Unit testing, Integration testing,

system. Acceptance testing will go through performance the application, in terms of

accuracy, access speed, quality assurance and quality control process before authorizing

for go-live.

• To provide project weekly status report to Manager and Stakeholder.

My responsibilities as Project / Implementation Coordinator:

• Involves coordinating and implementing the application company wide after successful

System, Acceptance and Performance testing.

• Involves to prepare Implementation Strategy, Implementation Plan, Issuance Summary,

Implementation Check Out List, Security Activation for end-user, Implementation back-

out plan (in case of failure), issuance check out plan, user functionality verification from

business partner after implementing the application to production, communication plan,

configuration inventory item, software configuration plan etc.
