PROJECTS

• Online Library Management System using Asp.Net and Microsoft SQL server 2005 -

Developed a Website for maintaining the entire library procedure, provided secure

authentication. It was certified as one among the top 22 projects by Microsoft Inc, USA.

• Cryptographic Security to Google Docs using Visual C# – Modelled a client application

which helps user to secure his data stored in Google Documents. AES was modified for

encryption process and HMAC was used for authentication. Also modelled an Interface for

Google Docs.

• Message Board using HTML and JavaScript – Designed a Website to create a Forum

where every authorised user can post their views in a stack based technique. The Project was

certified by Institute of Engineers - India.

• Front-end Design for Kiosk using Asp.Net - Designed a Mini Search Engine Module using

Asp.Net. The whole project aimed at designing front-end for a kiosk.

• Employee Management Database Using Oracle 9i – Designed an efficient Employee

Management Database, starting from devising EER diagram and designing relational schema

to constructing SQL queries.

• Content based image retrieval using 'C++' language - Built an efficient Binary Search

Tree to retrieve relevant images based on their index values such as colour, texture and shape.

• Key Assignment with Confidentiality Property in Wireless Networks: Developed a

Communication Model for wireless networks with increased information security.

• Virtual Safe System - Designed a Cryptographic Algorithm to provide Virtual Security for

text files using Positional Randomization Technique and Digital Signatures.

ACTIVITIES

Active Coordinator and Organizer of “CYBER 06”, a National Level Technical Symposium.

Organized and led numerous Inter-Departmental Technical Events and Programming

Competitions.

One of the Editors of IT Inside, an Intra-Departmental Technical Magazine of TCE

(Thiagarajar College of Engineering).

One of the Developers of TCENET, an Intranet Portal of the Website www.tce.edu. It was a

free open source project.
