WORK EXPERIENCE
9/2005-Present Electrical Engineer, General Dynamics Electric Boat, Groton, CT
Provide engineering support during construction of new submarines. Perform troubleshooting
on hardware/software problems on delivered submarines and during Virginia Ship Control
System (VSCS) installation. Create and implement testing procedures for hardware/software
problems on both delivered submarines and submarines under new construction.
Lead a team of engineers and technicians during certification testing of submarine hardware.
Perform certification testing on all Submarine Flight Critical Components (SFCC). Write and
update current SFCC test procedures. Coordinate testing and troubleshooting to ensure SAT
lab workability.
Circuit Card design for the Mode Select Panel (MSP) Signal Conditioner Card. Evaluated
obsolescence issues in the MSP Signal Conditioner Card to improve cost and functionality of
new card design. Coordinate design, board layout, prototype and qualification testing for MSP
Signal Conditioner Card. (ACTIVE Government Security Clearance: SECRET)
5/2002-8/2002 Internship, NASA Langley Research Center Hampton, VA
Designed, built, and wired the circuitry for an Active Noise Control box. The project was displayed
at the Virginia State Fair to demonstrate the technical advances being used to reduce noise
pollution due to aircraft. The project is presently on display in the Virginia Air & Space
Museum, Hampton, Virginia.
5/2001-8/2001 Internship, NASA Langley Research Center Hampton, VA
Specialized in a variety of projects ranging from simple wiring to designing and building circuits.
Designed and constructed a Phase Lock Loop circuit, which functioned as a frequency
multiplier. Tested, analyzed, and troubleshot circuit for lead Engineer.
