• Business Manager for 2+ years for a $12M annual private brand alliance that was also a supplier,

developer, and competitor.

• Interfaced with domestic and international factored product suppliers with a total plan over $10M.

• Planned, organized, and staffed displays for two Rockwell trade/supplier training shows a year.

One show had annual attendance over 12,000.

Project Manager, Private Brands 1995 - 2003

• Helped create and then managed a unique entrepreneurial business/processes within a corporate

structure for a new private brand market for Rockwell with 15+ customer alliances from around the

world generating revenue well over $125M of business over 14 years.

• Internal and external single point of contact Project Manager focusing on cost, quality, and

delivery, cash flow, inventory, forecasting, lead-time reductions, and Engineering interfaces for

both companies for major private brand customers throughout the entire life of the alliances.

• Managed cross-functional teams across the company for planning and implementing several

unique processes in support of private brand customers including:

Conformal coating processes for high volume production that yielded over $40M in sales

over 10 years.

All new custom product labeling/documentation processes that reduced errors and

minimized packaging costs that were later adopted company-wide.

Worked directly with Information Technologies on a 120 line item catalog on-line e-

commerce web portal to input and track orders securely, specifically for private brand

customers.

Created a generic components business with manufacturing and logistics processes to

sell component parts to alliance partners/developers, growing this new components

business to over $1.5M annually.

Supervisor, Production Control, Twinsburg OH 1993 - 1995

• Supervised twelve Production Control Planners and two hourly clerks responsible for planning for

3 shift printed circuit board manufacturing, new product manufacturing, outsourcing, and

international parts planning during a time when sales were averaging 30-35% above plan with a

department expense budget over $3M.

• Participated on the specialized empowered team that implemented a complete manufacturing

system conversion inside of 12 months while implementing a complete Planning Team

reorganization combining two manufacturing facilities with over 1,000 labor hours of training that I

facilitated.

• Planned and executed an effective Materials communication strategy including the purchase of

over 40 networked desktop computers with MS-Office software plus coordinating employee

training.

1988 - 1993

• Supervised four Master Planners responsible for planning at Rockwell’s Twinsburg OH and Dublin,

GA facilities for factored product, make-to-stock, build-to-order, and configure-to-order products.

• Planned and executed a $16M Finished Goods reduction inside five months.

• Analyzed, specified, and planned for the installation of a PC-based MPS system (MPSPlus) fully

integrated with VAX and mainframe systems.

• Worked as a programmer/analyst for plant systems development utilizing two fourth generation

programming languages, IBI Focus for the Mainframe and Oracle SQL for the VAX.

• Analyzed and implemented new MRP and Purchasing systems for integration into existing

manufacturing systems as well as an Oracle SQL-based personnel training tracking system and

several IBI Focus-based reporting solutions, boosting stockroom utilization and enhancing

planning/dispatching tools.
