with Bear Stearns & Co., an erstwhile financial services leader in their information technology group. Had end-to-end responsibility and

accountability for managing a large and complex customer engagement, which entailed in having to program manage application

development and maintenance (A&M) of the Broker-Dealer suite of web-applications for the global clearance services (GCS) of Bear

Stearns. Responsibilities at the client-site included taking up ownership of project/s delivery and ensuring customer satisfaction and

having total control over the program across multiple technologies. Monitoring project progress and communicating project status to all

stakeholders (including Satyam and Bear Stearns) was one of the key functions. Establish, review and manage the project portfolio; Track

project costs and manage budgets, conduct project reviews, and audits. Identify risks and ensure pro-active mitigating of risks. Mapping

Sabre-Holdings, to manage and administer the USAirways.com projects portfolio. Responsible for the project and program management

of the e-commerce product development efforts, controlling costs, administer budgets, resource planning, develop timelines, and

communication plans in collaboration with Sabre’s PMO while facilitating convenient access to business-critical information to the project

stake-holders, client managers, and business users. Other responsibilities include the drafting of scoping documents, estimations,

Milwaukee. Responsible for the project and program management of the data warehousing development, delivery, and implementation at

the client site utilizing the data warehousing life-cycle process while facilitating convenient access to business-critical information to the

project stake-holders, client managers, and business users. Responsibilities included analysis & study of the data warehousing solutions,

Responsibilities: As a Senior Principal Consultant in the Custom Software Solutions unit of RedBrigade UK Ltd., (a subsidiary of iGate

Capital & Mastech Corporation, USA) Bracknell, Berkshire, UK., I was tasked with the setting up of a Project/Program Management Office

(PMO) and its Solutions Practice in the Software Solutions initiative of the organization. Responsibilities included the formulation,

adoption, & implementation of processes and methods in the practice areas of pre-sales, scoping, estimations of budget, cost, size, effort,

and schedule, risk management, requirements management, service delivery & implementation strategies, resource planning, and client

management. In the course of executing these duties, a concerted effort was made to utilize the resultant process mappings and design

patterns along with SSADM, PRINCE2, & UML methods in the implementation of custom software solutions, enterprise application

integration, as well as web-based application development. The PMO initiative was successfully launched and staged on Lotus

QuickPlace 2.0.5 capturing knowledge in an organized searchable way, where the project managers and teams could quickly access

critical information through the intranet on projects by client, industry, and other criteria to aid them in their development and

implementation efforts. Other responsibilities included the drawing up of system specifications, the formulation of design specifications,

estimations of effort and schedule, project management, and ensure timely development of the applications while adhering to exacting

Responsibilities: Working for Infotech Enterprises Limited, Hyderabad, A.P., India in their E-Solutions division, I Served as Project

Manager in the E-Solutions division driving an e-commerce initiative through web-development solutions. Responsibilities involved were

the account management of five internet projects in the capacity of project manager. Responsibilities include analysis & study of

proposed systems, drafting of proposals, estimations, schedules, the formulation of system requirements, risk analysis, project

management plans using MS Project 98, for the proposed web development, estimations of effort and cost, interfacing between the

an offshore development and maintenance project for The R.R.Donnelley group of companies based in Lancaster, PA, USA. This web-

based LINK system automates the collection, execution, tracking, billing, and invoicing of customer orders for the publishing house’s

financial department. Duties of Project Management included drawing up of detailed development project plan, estimation and

scheduling, translating high-level design requirements to low-level design specifications, drawing up of work allocation charts for an

offshore team of 8 resources, facilitating off-shore/on-site communication, resolution of development bottle-necks, tracking and monitoring

the progress of the project, motivating the project team, providing constant feed-back to upper management both off-shore and on-site,

establish and ensure adherence to quality standards, and ensure timely release of software of the versioned software to the client on-site.

LINK is developed in Java 1.2 complemented by ColdFusion 4.0, with data driven XML and CORBA spec providing the distributed

components.

Responsibilities: Worked in the role of Technical Team Lead in the implementation of BANNER - a utilities ERP package - for the Public

Service Company of New Mexico (PNM) in Albuquerque, NM. The package implemented automated the day to day operations and

Dallas-Fort Worth. The StaffManager application, a fully functional system is actively used in real-time by the American Airlines Airport

resolving enhancement issues within time-frames utilizing a support team of four. This enhancement effort was on an application

Responsibilities: Functioned as Project lead in an analysis/development effort for Compuware’s Enterprise Solutions division to design

and develop a Manpower Tracking System (MTS), whose primary purpose was to keep tabs on the allocation and utilization of available

human resources. This system provided resource and engagement managers an efficient means to match employee skills with the

requirements of proposed and on-going projects while trying to achieve near total resource utilization. Duties involved intensive user

requirement sessions, analysis of the system requirements, scheduling of modular deliverables within set time frames using project

management tools like MS-Project, and allocating available resources optimally. Development of MTS was done with a team size of 8

resources, within a UML framework, using Uniface 7.1 for Windows 95, Compuware’s proprietary GUI building tool which is based on a

model-driven paradigm, with Oracle RDBMS v.7.0 as the database layer.

applying Object Oriented methodologies to the design effort using SELECT-OMT as the primary OO-design tool, facilitating extensive

user requirement sessions, JAD, prototyping, and generation of the design document with a team size of 8 members.
