Duties: Responsible for the daily operation of the Digital Pre-Press Department and the Plate Room Department by using the
practical and technical knowledge with attention to offset web and sheet fed printing. This includes preparation and output of
electronic files. Implemented digital workflow processing native files applications, PDF files both delivered by conventional
medias and internet and FTP file delivery systems. Communicate with all levels of co-workers and customers. Evaluate
company’s needs and requirements to their present and future products. Responsible for maintenance on all equipment in the
Pre-Press Department and the Plate Room.

Agfa CTP with Apogee X. PC and Mac of Adobe InDesigns, Photoshops, Illustrator, PageMaker, QuarkXpress, Corel Draw,
Micosoft Word, Excell, PDF’s files using Adobe Acobat and PDF editing software PitStop.

POSITION: Graphic Desktop Designer
Duties: Typesetting 4 color process and spot colors sale coupons for Direct Mail. Meeting deadlines, experienced in
Quark Xpress and Photoshop. Overseeing quality control as the coupons are being printed on the web presses. The company
moved the operation to Denver, CO in July of 2000.
ALEGENT HEALTH BERGAN MERCY HOSPITAL, Omaha, NE February 1997 to May 1998
POSITION: Pressman
Received two 1998 IPMA Awards for Outstanding Printing.
Duties: Responsible for scheduling printing, equipment maintenance, operating the presses, estimating and purchasing paper
and material for the in-plant print shop. Worked closely with Marketing in developing a plan for promoting the Alegent Health
Systems.
GLENWOOD PRINTING, Glenwood, IA September 1988 to April 1996
POSITION: Owner
Owned and operated a successful commercial print shop for 8 years.
Received “1993 Young Entrepreneur for the Year Award” from the State of Iowa.
Duties: Responsible for all aspects of running a small printing business, employee management, scheduling, sales, estimating,
all phases of production, billing, customer relations, record keeping, ordering supplies and materials, and equipment and
building maintenance. I sold Glenwood Printing in 1996.
