EXECUTIVE LEVEL OPERATIONS MANAGER (CONSULTANT BASIS)

Hired by PDI for my superlative operation’s experience in Fixtures, Cosmetics, and Point of Purchase displays

in general. Immediately put in charge of project management operations with key accounts such as Estee

Lauder, Redken. L’oreal, Lancome. Typical responsibilities included overseeing project management

activities, developing both short term and long term operational plans and department goals, and working closely

with the salesman on these accounts.

• Developed and implemented standard operating procedures resulting in improved work flow from order

entry to product delivery. Improved job accuracy and internal communications. As a result, increased

productivity and greater client satisfaction. Improved bottom line by 5 percent and growing.

• Restructured quality control procedures both incoming, in-process, and finished goods, realizing at least

a 15% improvement to operations minimizing field defects and complaints.

• Analyzed vender base and brought on new venders with greater efficiencies and quality saving both

costs and overall product quality, resulting in less down time on plant floor.

• Worked with new Asian sources directly to save costs on various electronic display components.

TAURUS DISPLAY, MOORESTOWN, NJ 2007 – 2008

OPERATIONS PRODUCTION MANAGER(CONSULTANT BASIS)

Recruited by Taurus Display as a senior member in the Permanent Division to develop and expand the

company’s presence in permanent displays and fixtures. Responsibilities included project management,

estimating, purchasing, production planning, tooling, and quality control.

• Immediately took control of a high profile display program for a major tobacco client. Developed the

production plan and flawlessly delivered the product on time, and 10% under budget.

• Managed assorted In-Store fixture projects for the entertainment industry including key accounts such

as Ingram Entertainment and SONY.

• Other successful programs included the development and execution of end-aisle displays for Black and

Decker and Home Depot.

ART GUILD, THOROFARE, NJ 2006 – 2007

PRODUCTION MANAGER

Senior project manager whose duties included the development and delivery of large flooring fixtures for major

clients. Successfully ran the production on multi-million dollar programs responsible for establishing budgets,

manufacturing, and on time deliveries over monthly periods. Vendor selection was both domestically and Asian

sources. Set up monthly schedules and reporting procedures with clients to keep all involved well informed.

Established the company’s first official quality control manual.

TRANS WORLD MARKETING, East Rutherford, New Jersey 1988-1999 and 2003-2005

VICE PRESIDENT PRODUCTION/OPERATIONS (2003 -2005)

Restructured and re-engineered the operations of the company to better serve new sales directives and to

stimulate, develop, and promote new business opportunities. In this endeavor, placed in new role as Vice

President Production/Operations assuming increased responsibilities in project management, production, pre-

production, tooling, and quality assurance.

• Initiated, procured, and developed Asian sourcing for the company’s custom display and fixture

programs, improving the bottom line by 20 percent. Established overseas vendors, contacts,

manufacturing plants, and employed Asian sources for project management and quality control to run

specific programs overseas.

• Substantially improved customer relations and cut product defects by 15 percent by innovating the

company's first comprehensive quality control program for monitoring internal/external production

controls, and finished goods.

VICE PRESIDENT PROJECT PLANNING/DEVELOPMENT (2001– 2003)

Promoted to this new position to develop and organize teams from all functional areas, including engineering,

sales/account management, marketing, estimating, and purchasing. Structure deals with clients, source and

negotiate contracts with vendors, and oversee purchasing of materials/services critical to marketing and

production.

• Lead the company in the next $25 million project for a nationwide paint manufacturer. Managed team

through design, engineering, costing, production and manufacturing, logistics, and final delivery.

Worked closely with the client to successfully deliver the largest program for the client into a major

home retail chain in North America, never once missing a delivery or production schedule.

• Increased profits 8% per year, contributing more than $2.5 million in new revenues by developing

partnerships with an expansive base of vendors and contract manufacturers. Changes also resulted in

significant reductions in intrafreight costs and customer delivery timeframes.

DIRECTOR PROJECT DEVELOPMENT (2001)

Recruited back to Trans World Marketing by the president/owner and the CEO. Goal was to implement the

team concept in the operations department, directly accountable for team of project managers and estimators.

Lead an $8 million project for a major food and beverage company. Developed a myriad of displays for their

company’s highest profile program. Also led projects in personal products and cosmetic divisions.

• Enhanced profit margins and stepped up employee productivity by contributing recommendations to the

company’s reorganization task force, charged with devising operational improvements and developing

independent business units on a client-by-client basis.

HMG WORLDWIDE INSTORE MARKETING, INC., New York, New York (2000-2001)

Direct business operations for the creation, development, manufacture, and marketing of point-of-purchase

product displays, interactive displays, and in-store fixture programs. Managed a portfolio of the company’s
