R&D Chemist

Contributor to a research team with a specific focus in formulations. Accurately carried out density and

viscosity measurements. Performed various sample quality tests such as FTIR, UV-Vis

spectophotometer, pH meter, and abrasion testing. Analyzed samples under a microscope. Produced

customer samples and improved sampling plans. Designed and developed sample storage systems.

and filling. As a successful independent performer, met all production deadlines while maintaining high

product quality. Trouble shooting of filling equipment to accurately dispense volume or weight.

Performed purification projects and assembled filtration set up. Filtration materials included virus

materials and various cellines. Performed filter integrity tests. Performed environmental monitoring.

Other duties include: clinical trials materials production, development studies for process optimization for

virus growth, and TCID50.

Created and revised SOP, batch records, specifications of supplies, deviation reports, and changes in

validated systems. Improved clarity of instructions and reports. Took charge of multiple process areas

and production suites and monitored supplies and inventories. Semi annual pipette calibrations

Worked with validation in order to keep all equipments and pipettes in all process areas validated and

CNS: Pharmacology and Cell Sciences group.

Drug discovery and analysis of compounds. Qualitative screening in 96-well formats including:

Scintillation proximity assay, filtration binding assay, and uptake assay. Pharmacological analysis with

inhibition and enzyme kinetics study such as protein-ligand interactions. Trouble shoot with Multimek to

design dilution scheme and accurately program desired dilution methods. Prepared membranes,

proteins, and various buffers. Operated centrifuge for protein purification, primarily CEK cells. Handled

radioactive materials. Utilized MS Excel, Prism, and other analysis software.
