Led global branding initiatives for three years, and helped QAD better engage with
customers and compete against larger enterprise software firms. Achievements
included: Re-branding entire product suite; developing brand management tools to
unify worldwide marketing effort (e.g., brand platform, messaging matrices, product-
module nomenclature guide, graphics and corporate identity guidelines); corporate
image campaign development and execution. Served on Knowledge Steering
Committee and directed development of all Web content and Sales Support tools.
Directed development of the QAD Community online. Shaped and implemented a
new global Customer Reference program, sales training tools, lead generation
campaigns, and a collateral management system. Oversaw promotion and
production of major customer events, and managed communications around
multiple acquisitions. Span of control totaled seven staff including specialists in
writing, creative services, employee communications, Web/content management,
project management, and competitive intelligence, as well as agencies for global
public relations, industry analyst relations, advertising and design services. Reported
to CMO, and liaised with leadership of all departments, including Sales, Legal,
Finance/IR, IT, Human Resources, and with field sales/marketing colleagues in
EMEA, Asia Pacific, Latin America, and U.S. territories.

Creative branding consultancy with annual capitalized billings of approximately $10
million. Responsibilities included business development, directing client strategy,
and overseeing the account service team. Agency client roster included category-
leading Colorado companies in a variety of industries including restaurants, banking,
real estate, retail, beverages, and apparel, among others. Increased business to
deliver a more than seven-fold increase in net profit during my tenure; recruited by
QAD during my new business outreach.

Supervised staff of 18, plus a team of world-class agencies, and managed a multi-
