Summary of Experience
Over thirty-four years experience in the design of commercial, industrial, marine and manufacturing
structures. Familiar with building design from concept through construction management, in projects which
include marine, nuclear, chemical, petroleum, paper, food, clinical, plastics, cement & white pigments
facilities. Project experience includes material handling, equipment design, support such as robotics,
conveyors and cranes for raw and finished products. To date I have coordinated design on several
design/construct projects including Oilfield module facilities, Chemical Storage Warehouse facilities, Multi-
level Process buildings, Office buildings, and the expansion of wastewater facilities. I have coordinated
design of structural support systems, equipment foundations and MCC instrument upgrade. Both in existing

modules support. Worked with translators to ensure dual-language on all drawings and documents.
Hargrove & Associates, Inc/Mobile, AL: (Nov 2004 – April 2007) (Design system used AutoCad 2006 & 3D
Bentley Structural). Senior Structural Designer responsible for Chemical plant & Industrial plant upgrades.
Design involves retro-fit of new expansions in the following; Access Platforms, Safety design, Structures,
Buildings, Containment areas & Trench drains, Steel Piperacks & Sleeperways, and Design in demolition of
steel & concrete floors.

Senior Structural Designer on a Pulp Mill Digester expansion.
Responsible for producing construction design packages for access platforms, elevator, stair tower, mat
foundation modifications and micro piles. The structural design for the Domtar, Ashdown Mill is to be installed
in 2005 and co-coordinated with the new equipment from overseas.
Framatome–Duke-Energy Corp/Charlotte,NC: (Feb. 2003-June 2004) (Design system used-PDS
Frameworks/Microstation SE) Responsible for producing access platforms and concrete facility design in
Frameworks model and the extraction to Microstation design files for construction of a Nuclear fuel called the
MOX project. All proceedings related to this production design is under the guidelines of the U.S.Department
of Energy.
BE&K Engineering/Dupont Mobile,Al: (Sept. 2000-Feb.2003 AutoCad 2000, Microstation SE, &
PDMS/Draft)
Civil/Structural Designer Lead on the JV (New Johnsonville, Tn) Dupont Engineering Team.
Responsiblities include front end loading, & production design of “White Pigment Unit” expansions using
PDMS structural model design & presenting final reviews to the Dupont client for construction in New
Johnsonville plant.
Civil/Structural Designer Lead on OCI Chemical Corp. Greenfield Project. Design co-ordination includes
main piperack structure, Norfolk Southern Corp. railroad system, Railcar loading facility, Silo/tank area
foundations, and supported equipment.
Agra/Amec of Atlanta (Feb 2000-Sept. 2000)(Microstation SE, Autocad 14, Staad/Pro, & Frameworks)
Responsible for design co-ordination of Pre-heater unit for Suwannee American Cement Co. Tasks include
extracting all members from Staad/Pro model, developing all main steel/concrete floor levels and braced
elevations/details, along with all access to misc. platforms.

Responsible for co-ordination of design for Scrubber Expansion in the Marathon Refinery. Also same tasks in
a Coke Sizing project for same location.

projects including a chemical storage warehouse facility, a four-story process building upgrade, a plant
management office building, and an IBOU Expansion. I provided structural design for expansion of waste
