With a business plan, an initial capital investment and an empty 85K sq. ft. facility
created a fully operational PVC manufacturing plant from the ground up.
Developed operating procedures, quality control testing, personnel policies, health
and safety policies and interviewed, hired and trained entire manufacturing staff.
Evaluated raw materials, ran trials and developed and refined PVC formulation to
produce one of the industry’s best-quality products.
In less than 1 year managed the business from initial start-up to a financially viable
entity.

several manufacturing facilities ranging from 35K – 200K sq. ft. staffed by 350
hourly and 30 salaried employees.
Manage all aspects of an ISO 9000 registered cable extrusion manufacturing
facility, including production, maintenance and facilities management, product and
process development, engineering, materials management, production control,
customer service and quality control.
Elimination of over $1 million dollars in past due customer orders and an 85%
reduction in total backlog by developing and activating strategic initiatives that
increased plant output.
Managed the consolidation of manufacturing operations by relocating
production lines to other facilities and outsourcing other production lines resulting in
$279K annual savings.
Planned and managed the relocation of manufacturing operations to low cost
countries. Developed and presented corporate sales, profitability, quarterly
operations reviews and lean manufacturing presentations.
Sales support to domestic and international sales representatives and
customers by participating in sales meetings, working closely with large private label
accounts and local customers while providing technical and product specific
information as required by the customers.

Managed three separate extrusion manufacturing departments using melt blown
and ram extrusion technologies following ISO and cGMP guidelines in the
production of filters for medical and industrial use.
Accountable for five, three-shift operations at two plant locations utilizing twenty-
nine extruders, and a combined work force of nine supervisors, fourteen mechanics
and sixty operators.
Awarded Pall’s Outstanding Achievement Award for 1992, in recognition of
increasing productivity by 25% and reducing scrap by an additional 12% resulting in
the savings of over a half a million dollars.
Acquired extensive computer knowledge, including several software packages,
