Manager of Software Development

Entrusted to lead the software development division of this innovative technology company, offering traditional and

SaaS delivered solutions to small, medium and large Trust departments across the US and Canada. Directly reporting

to the Chief Operating Officer. Tasked with hiring new staff and growing human capital in line with company’s

strategic direction. Charged to develop schedules, budgets, estimates, quality goals and plans for the Development

department. Responsible for identifying and driving improvements in the development process that facilitate quality,

customer experience, schedule, and cost improvements. Additional accountabilities include designing and maintaining

the SAS-70 Type II audit controls for the Software Development Life Cycle and serving as backup to the Manager of

IT in the Disaster Recovery Team.

• Led a team of 20+ engineers (Developers, Development Support Engineers, Build Engineers, DBA, Deployment

and Test Engineers) to produce successful and timely releases of AccuTrust Gold, AccuNet, AccuTech Online for

existing and prospective clients.

• Started and implemented automated regression testing to allow QA testers to focus more on testing new features

and less on manual testing of existing functionality.

• Created and implemented strategies to motivate and increase productivity of technical and managerial staff.

• Led effort for the company’s first successful SAS-70 type II audit in 2007.
