Contract Engineer

I worked as a Structural Designer for 747-8 program. I did the preliminary layout and release drawings for

details of the right side passenger door panel including all stringers, straps, skins, and intercostals. I also

did 85% of Station 400 bulkhead detail design. Worked in PDM for installation. CATIA V4 46,000 hr total

experience. CATIA V5 200 hr experience.

Contract Engineer

Did design layout and release drawings for F-16. Sustaining on F-16 in the Center Fuselage Group. Made

revisions to Digital Mock-up Library (COMOK).

Worked in JSF Airframe Group on WIP program-weight reduction. Used PowerPoint and Word Document

to make presentations and Design Standards. Also used VAS (aircraft mockup library for desktop

computers). Worked in the JSF Wing Box Structural group to release new drawings packages in PDM.

Structural Design for 777-300 ER (extended range stretch). Designed

Titanium Heat Shield Castings in the Aft Fairing for Propulsion.

Worked on 777 Flying Test bed program for new GE90-115B engine.

All releases in DCAC and CATIA.

SIKORSKY HELICOPTER: Stratford, CT 6/98-4/99

Contract Engineer

Structural Design for Sea Hawk, Black Hawk and S-76 programs. Worked on

solid modeling for digital mockup library. Have used auxview 2 and other advanced CATIA functions. I

also worked as a Customer Service representative for Sikorksy Aircraft in Structures.

horizontal flight capability. Designed primary structure on 3 frames and after body deck in fuselage - all

CAD-AM. Performed configuration studies for external verses internal splice straps for fuselage. Met

maintenance requirements for empennage and system integration for Grumman Aerospace Corp.

BOEING COMPANY: Wichita, KS 4/80 -5/84

Structural Design Engineer

Completed repair design for Air Force wing of the B-52.Worked on the Pavement Program for the B-52

making structural modifications to existing structure to accommodate the extra electronic hardware

required by the Air Force. Redesigned the two radome lifting struts and support equipment. Worked on the

cabin section (Section 41) of the 757 commercial program. Performed bird-strike studies on the

757 window posts. Replaced conventional forgings with precision forgings.

CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY: Wichita, KS 3/79 - 4/80

Structural Design Engineer (Test Laboratory)

Analyzed the test requirement and made a proposal, coordinated the design with the structures group. Ran

tests and logged data. Worked with strain gages, flow meters, pressure sensing devices, accelerometers and

related calibrating devices. Worked with Ingstron Cyclic Loading machines. Exposed to Photo Stress

including modeling with photo-elastic plastic. Also exposed to servo equipment

used to control hydraulics in cyclic test.
