Key Achievements
• Because of major customer return issues, electrical parameters were analyzed which helped to
identify the root cause at the foundry. Set up new monitoring controls at the foundry,
resulting in scrapping $6.3 million worth of material which, if not identified, would have cost
more in customer goodwill and returns.
• Designed and implemented a new process control system with foundry including disposition
flow, resulting in no customer returns for any parameter where system was used.
• Streamlined a system for quick information to customers from Product Engineering that
included a methodology to eliminate non-valued steps for initial reports, a 24-hour report sent
to customers with accountability from engineers and corrective action. This system resulted
in value-added corrective actions and no report rejections by customers.
• Maintained and coordinated ISO QS 9000 certification audits, resulting in reducing audits
from bi-yearly to yearly.
• Performed needs assessment and designed 4 technical courses for organization based on
analyzed results of needs and resources. Assessment system was adopted by HR and other
departments.
• Company had made no plans for addressing a critical customer audit to take place in a month.
Took initiative to lead a team to develop the audit program, receiving the highest initial audit
score from customer.
• Created a system to analyze multiple customer ratings, producing quarterly reports showing
progress and listing areas of opportunity. Overall customer ratings improved 5-10% per
quarter.

• Finding that improper statistical analysis and techniques were being utilized chose software
that best met the business needs. Usage of the selected software went from 25 to 125 users in
2 years, and is the recognized statistical software in the company.
• Developed a communication strategy for operators to address issues with Management that
had been resulting in a 10% yield loss. Coached operators on presentation, resulting in
Management supporting solution, totally eliminating yield loss.
• Created and completely implemented within 10 months an online engineer change control
system that handled 2-3 critical changes per month. System obtains and manages approvals
from managers of critical job functions that have a vested interested in the impact of the
change.
• After one line was shut down due to yield loss, facilitated meeting with cross-functional
engineers to determine the issue. Managed the conflict within the team so that within one
hour the root cause was identified and the line was up and running within one day.
