negotiated contracts with various suppliers and monitored their performance for make-to-order

manufacturing line redesign, increasing production capacity by 1,235 units, and annual sales by

$18.5M. Analyzed, identified and removed obsolete inventories saving $180K. Supervised, mentored

and trained people in KanBan, supply chain and lean concepts. Led Kaizen Events.

• Directed plant wide inventory reduction, cooperated with cross functional teams, utilized 6 Sigma

• Managed GM global auto parts Supply Chain ERP application compliance. Recommended

strategies to governance board, resulting in 10% faster new vehicle launches at reduced cost. Bid for

GM’s new global auto parts supplier selection project, negotiated new supplier contracts with

application owners in Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Europe, and Australia. Identified

priorities and redesigned supplier selection processing procedures, resulting in 18% faster compliance

time and $3M in savings.

• Managed and selected software outsourcing vendors, and led culturally diverse and cross-functional
