Role Developer
MSC Ozone is an intranet portal developed and maintained for the benefit of MSC team operating at
Microsoft and HCL. The idea of this project is to help MSC teams to share their documents and dashboards.
It is a knowledge portal that seamlessly connects users, teams and knowledge. So that people can take
advantage of relevant information across business process to help them more efficiently. It provides simple,
familiar and consistent user experience. Connect People with information and expertise. Here we used
Dundas charts and Excel Web service to generate metrics (Charts) from the excel sheets at runtime.
As a Developer I,
• Involved in designing and developing UI using Silver light, Flash and SharePoint designer
• Developed custom .Net application in excel web services to generate the Metrics
• Developed Custom application in Dot Net to integrate Excel sheet, SQL and Dundas Charts.

The Vendor Management System is an intranet application developed for Microsoft to automate the
process of selecting, monitoring and maintaining the details of their vendors and to track the status of their
projects running with the vendors. Basically the process involves creation of custom list based RFP,
Proposal, SOW, Accruals. In each stage notifications will be sent to persons who are responsible for the
creation and completion of the stages through automated workflows.
As a Developer I,
• Involved in Requirements analysis and design of applications.
• Designed and developed forms for each stages
• Created custom workflows using SharePoint designer
• Worked on creating custom features, their deployment and testing before go live.
• Identified the gap between share point out of box features and requirement feature. Depending on
the gap, I developed reusable looping Workflows using SharePoint designer

FDP is a workflow based project. The main objective of this project is to build an automated link between
Microsoft sales division and project implementation division using collaborative feature of MOSS 2007. The
Field Demand process (FDP) was designed to manage changes in the field applications portfolio. It
provides functionality for capturing the requirements for new applications and progress these to
development, as well as the necessary workflow for changing, retiring, simplifying, on-boarding or
transferring applications.
As a Developer I,
• Created custom Site definitions with custom master page and themes to brand sites and developed
CSS files for the sites to change the look and feel of the site
• Involved in the development of custom workflows using Windows workflow Foundation and
SharePoint designer workflows
• Responsible for defining and documenting Functional Specifications and Business Requirements
• Involved in deploying and troubleshooting the application on client side

4. Weekly Status Report Generation (WSRG):

Weekly Status Report Generation is a SharePoint portal, developed to automate the process of creation and
tracking of weekly status of engineers working in an organization. The status forms will be generated using
InfoPath and the notifications will be sent to respective persons using automated workflows. Once the
engineers fill the InfoPath forms a consolidated InfoPath form will be generated and submitted to the
respective managers.
As a team lead I,
• Participated in the detailed study of the requirements of the project and converted Business
Requirements into Functional Specification
• Led the team in planning and executing the tasks
• Responsible for all change requests and integrating the portal with InfoPath services
• Designed and Developed InfoPath forms
• Involved in the creation of custom InfoPath work flows
