Digital Synergy Inc., (DSI) is an innovative software consulting company with many years of

experience with Open VMS and Linux. We have supported VMS / Open VMS systems for over 25 years

and Linux systems for 7 years. In addition to supporting these systems, we are also an HP Itanium

reseller.

We are based in southern California and our current customer base includes Monex International

(www.monex.com), HRGi, a member of the Principal Financial Group (http://www.hrgi-online.com)

and Impact Marketing Specialists, an on line real estate direct mail marketing company.

My staff and I also provide all of the programming services for an Internet based service bureau for

property management, lock box, ACH bank clearing services, G/L, A/R, A/P.

Some our past customers included Union Bank, MetroBank, Columbia Savings & Loan and Air Touch

Cellular.

Currently we support Basic and Cobol applications on both Itanium and Alpha OpenVMS clusters and

also provide support for MySQL data warehouses.

Some of our recent development projects include:

• A centralized Linux and OpenVMS performance monitoring system

• A Java interface to OpenVMS RMS files with a real-time listener manager to link legacy

OpenVMS applications with Java programs using both Swing and Apache/Tomcat.

• A FastCGI (Open Source) web server and client for OpenVMS

• A web-based variable data print system for direct mail marketing

From a system support standpoint we have migrated numerous customers from VAX systems to Alpha

systems and Alpha systems to Itanium systems.

We internally run Alphas and Itanium OpenVMS servers and use SUSE Linux desktop systems.
