Thales is a world leader in Mission-critical information systems for the Aerospace, Defense and

Security markets. The headquarters facility for Thales’ IFE business is in Irvine, California.

BITE (Built-In Test Equipment) GUI is a reporting tool to report all the faults occurred to any of the

LRU’s in an aircraft using a Graphical User Interface. This tool is used by the cabin crew’s/ flight

attendants to check for LRU’s (Line Replaceable Units) with failures. User can see the Flight Details,

where all the failures related to a particular flight is displayed, “Print” option to print the failures

related to a specific flight’s LRU’s, “Help” option which shows the help screen according to the

current page etc. End-user can filter the failures according to LRU or Severity. There is also a

provision to see the details of a particular fault, and can see the fault description page by page.
