and profitable, multi-divisional entertainment group, providing digital production, CGI, 2D &
3D visual effects, and design services to the feature film, commercial, network TV, and music
industries. Drive overall business affairs, business development, and financial and operational
management.
Contributions:
Spearheaded key project acquisition, new creative services, and re-branding of the Sandman
Studios brand and direction.
Initiated and managed acquisition, internal production developments, and strategic
partnerships.
Diversified creative services, launching feature development and production. Supervised all

Summary of Positions: Responsible for the administrative and personnel function,

and scheduling, determination of work procedures and priorities, career development,
employee morale, performance reviews, salary administration, and conflict resolution. Work
with Producers, Directors, Technical Supervisor, Department Creative or Technical Lead(s),
and fellow Department Managers to merge creative and production management efforts to
complete production on time and on budget.
Feature Project: “Shrek” In-house Production Supervisor Lighting/FX for the PDI /
DreamWorks animated co-production. Managed over 120 Animators.
Other Position: “Production Manager” In-house Production Manager over all Café
projects. Managing around 70 Animators. Project scope from Commercial, Live Action, Web,
Games, and Feature production.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Assumes budget responsibility for group salaries and operating overhead.
Designs, coordinates, and provides training as needed.
Develop and manage internal departmental schedules and staffing.
Work in partnership with people, set goals, build teams and motivate creative talent.
Prioritize the department’s workload with attention to overall schedule and budgetary

Managed and controlled production output and development of new training procedures for
over 60 modelers. In charge of quality control for each project. Worked directly with Art
Directors, Visual Effects Supervisors, Layout, and Motion Effects Directors in all aspects of
the industry including the above mentioned feature films, plus games, broadcast, and
advertising agencies.
Commercial Accounts
Senior Account Executive for US Sales for one year with attainment of a 144% of $2.5
million for 1998. Managed California sales and high profile projects from L.A. office.
Supervise CG production staff of 60, including modelers, texture map artists and motion
animators. Clients include General Motors, PDI, Disney, Digital Domain, Santa Barbara
Studios, Rhythm & Hues, Mattel, Cinesite, Dream Quest Images, Station X, and many others.
1993-1995: Petersen's Medical, Provo, UT.
Human Resources Manager.
Developed and implemented Human Resources process, Organizational Development, and
Training. Implemented programs to educate and institutionalize company values and objectives
in structure, strategic planning, and employee morale. Managed 50 Respiratory Therapists with a
client base of 4,500 patients.

Prop-Master Assistant.
Designed props and sets for movies. Provided direction and council in implementing tight
deadline setups schedules per film scene. Work Directly with Directors and Prop-master in
