applications running under Oracle10g R2 and Oracle11g on Windows, UNIX and Linux OSs.

Responsibilities include:

- monitoring, backup/recovery and performance tuning of Oracle instances and databases,

installation, maintenance, capacity planning and data loading

Architecture and design of an ORACLE datawarehouse for PROCESAR, a company responsible

for the privatization of Mexico's national pension plan. Involved in architecting the infrastructure of

the data warehouse, logical and physical design, ORACLE 7.3 installations (server and client),

tools recommendation, data extraction and loading scripts and procedures, backup and recovery

strategy for ORACLE. Three-tier client/server architecture consisting of a database server (HP

K460/HP-UX 10.10 running ORACLE 7.3.2 and ORACLE Express Server), an

application/tools/development server (Windows NT 3.51, Powerbuilder 5.0, Impromptu, ERWin

2.5/2.6, ORACLE 7.3.2) and client workstations (Windows for Workgroups 3.11, data analysis,
