Programmer, Senior Programmer Analyst & EDI analyst, Project Leader, and Project Management.
Most Recently I ve been a Quality Control Analyst. As a Quality Control Analyst my focus has been on: creating
and upgrading test environments, help design and implement test cases for previously undocumented product
areas with intent for use by the automation team at Quest. I worked with the QC team to implement “Lab
Manager” as the virtual testing standard for the local QA group; and, helped increase website testing velocity by
approx. 20% while raising the quality bar. In order to complete these tasks, I learned SQL query and scripting,
Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, IIS 6, VMware.
Before working for Quest Software much of my time was spent working as a Programmer Analyst, which utilized my
experience and knowledge of programming, database management, AS400, RPG3-400, CL, DDS, SDA, SQR,
PeopleSoft and Gentran.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
11/2007 – 7/2009 – Quest Software – Quality Control Analyst
Quest Software creates and supports systems management products. Archive Manager is software that allows the
client to collect, archive, index, search, and manage email messages and related documents. My position as a
Quality Control Analyst included these responsibilities:
Archive Manager installation and interface testing with Exchange Server, Active Directory, and Outlook.
Used VMware and VM Lab Manager to setup virtual machines and platform images for testing various
scenarios, functionality and Regression Testing.
Tested Archive Mangers interface and security with Outlook and SQL Server.
Tested sub components of Archive Manager that allowed for the export and import of message data in various
formats (ie. XML, HTML, PST, and Mime).
Work with the Development team to write requirements for new builds and releases.
1989 – 2007 ACL Consulting Inc – Owner
ACL Consulting was a successful independent consulting firm which concentrated on long term contracts, overseeing
everything from AS400 programming and management to sales analysis, project lead and design, Gentran
administration and mapping as well as EDI management.
Bandai America 1997 – 2007 ~ Contract Programmer and Analyst
Programmed and maintained AS400 supporting Pansophic software.
Part of the transition team to People Soft on NT platform with Oracle database from the AS400.
Gentran administration and mapping: Inbound 850s (Purchase Orders), Inbound 852s (Sales data),
inbound 824s (Messages), Outbound 856 s (ASN s), Outbound 810 s (Invoices).
Minor experience with Lexicon (Used to pass inbound and outbound data).
Experience with PeopleSoft as it pertains to Electronic Data Interchange.
Experience with People Code, SQR, and Application Designer.
Experience with Excel to control interface. This is a method of importing Excel data up to the PeopleSoft
Database.

Kia Motors 1993 – 1997 ~ Contract Programmer and Project Lead
Designed and developed the product tracking system (Auto and subcomponents) and interface between
the AS400 and PC based programming.
Designed and developed the Products transfer system. The sales analysis system was done using a Visual
RPG product by ASNA.
Created a programmer-training syllabus for the project team on the interface between RPG400 and ASNA
Visual RPG.
Brown Jordan (Patio furniture) 1991 – 1993 ~ Contract Programmer
Maintained existing software AS400 with Pansophic Software.
Modified Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Order Processing, and parts of manufacturing module.
3M (Medical Division) 1989 - 1991 ~ Contract Programmer
Maintained existing software AS400 with Pansophic Software.
Maintained Order Management module and created various reports.
Designed and created a product returns system that included various levels of receiving (i.e. Receive
return at dock, receive return to quarantine and lab testing, receive to warehouse or salvage). This all
interfaced with the Pansophic order management, Inventory, and accounting.

Involved in system 38 to AS400 migration and Pansophic upgrade.
