Responsible for assisting the project team in the monitoring of clinical investigative sites
according to company/project SOP’s with adherence to Good Clinical Practice, ICH, FDA,
and protocol guidelines. Duties include monitoring investigative sites and personnel for
specific protocol observance, CRF completion, source document verification, drug
accountability, and the documentation of necessary regulatory affairs. Responsibilities also
include the establishment and maintenance of positive communication channels between the
investigative sites, project management, and the Sponsor.
Studies monitored have included pivotal Phase II - IV projects and key peri-approval and
post-approval studies. Therapeutic areas include gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, neurology,
psychiatry, and endocrinology.
Clinical Data Coordinator
05/2007 – 10/2007
Responsible for ensuring that UBC’s data standards are met. Duties included consulting with
Project Managers, Data Managers, and other team members to resolve study related issues;
review of CRF’s to ensure data needs were met prior to production, design/assisted in the
design of databases, write CRF Guidelines, assisted in testing data entry screens/menus and
provided input into edit specifications. Responsibilities also included co-lead with Study
Forms Specialist in the design of forms and provided answers to questions on CRFs, protocol
and query resolution process on an ongoing basis.
Clinical Research Associate I
11/2006 to 08/2007
Responsible for assisting the project team in the management of clinical trials according to
project and company-specific SOP’s and guidelines. Duties included, site management,
corresponding with sites to boost enrollment; conducting training on protocol and study
procedures; contacting sites to provide management and support; collecting regulatory
documents; and resolving all data queries. Duties also included reviewing CRF’s for
completeness and accuracy, interfacing with the data management department, and ensuring
the satisfactory completion of documentation and turnaround time for response to serious
adverse events.
