Senior Manager, Inside Sales & Sales/Product Training (2007-2009)
Managed a remote team based in Westchester, NY of 7 telesales people, a manager, and an administrator. Yearly sales goal
was $36M, achieved annual percentages of 103% to 115% of target depending on the division. Also managed a team of 4
field trainers charged with improving the knowledge and focus of our dealer representatives.
• Started with 5 telesales reps that worked with our Direct Customers and increased that number to 7, so that we could
add focus to the Dealer Network and reverse annual declines in Supply Sales of 15% to 20%. The result was an
increase of 3% in the Dealer Division through example and training.
• Originally started with 2 trainers and added 2 more while completely re-writing the curriculum and changing from a
large classroom forum to a more intimate type of training with a 1:2 ratio. The results of the average exam grades
showed an increase of 15% and the demonstration techniques of the individuals showed a significant improvement in
their understanding of the products and the fit for the potential customer.
Manager, Duplicator Products (2006-2007)
• Achieved revenue goals ($120 million) launching and maintaining sales of one of the last in a series of older products
while the company’s newer products were still undergoing development and testing. The profits from the sales of this
series financed the R&D and Marketing efforts needed to launch the new technology.
Manager, Product Marketing (1996-2005)
Managed a team of 6 people with the responsibility for all products, supplies, and accessories ($120M to $180M in annual
sales) across both Dealer and Direct operations of the company, including the U.S., Canadian, and Latin American Divisions.
• Launched and managed the product life cycle of over 32 products including supplies and accessories; oversaw
inventory control and product pricing and positioning for all divisions. This included Specification Sheets, Sales
Brochures, White Papers, Advertising, Sales and Product Training, Demonstrations, Focus Groups, Dealer Support,
and Competitive Research.
• Responsible for selecting, staffing and showcasing the products for all corporate sponsored trade shows.
• U.S. Subsidiary Representative for International bi-annual meetings with R&D and International Product Planning
providing input on market needs and customer feedback for the development of future products.
• Increased annual revenues by more than $1 million through a joint marketing program that provided complementary
off-line products which enhanced the value of both companies’ offerings.
• Initiated and recommended adding additional colors to the core product line which added value and increased supply
sales by 5% to 10%.

• Introduced new and complementary in-line accessories by negotiating sales agreements with several manufacturers
who developed products which would exclusively interface with RISO’s product offerings. This differentiated our
products from the competition and enhanced the productivity for the end users. The result was a deeper penetration
into the Print for Profit marketplace, increasing our market share by 15%.
• Key project member who established National Accounts such as Kinko’s, Staples, Printers International Association,
Business Card Printers Association, and the Taylor Group of Companies. Also a contributing member of a team
established to create a new distribution channel that focused in a different market than our core dealer base in order
to increase revenue.
