manage the implementation of a new ERP system for L-3 Communications Ocean Systems. Successfully
implemented a new ERP system while leading improved business processes resulting in hard dollar savings of
over $5 million in operating expenses during a 4 year period. Implemented value stream mapping, process
standards, standardized infrastructure and standard applications across the sites. Manage a staff of 32.
Fully trusted and accountable for overall Information and Technology strategy, technology planning, enterprise
resource planning, telecommunications, acquisition and integration:
- Responsible for overall I.T. management over outsourcing, project budgeting, administration, help desk,
business systems applications, collaboration technologies, I.T., quality assurance, end-user training,
Intranet, Extranet, Internet, LAN / WAN, firewall, security policies, anti-virus, spam, telephony, I.T.
communications and vendor negotiations.
- Responsible for directing the business processes, strategic planning, governance, staffing, operations
and budgeting of all Contract, Program Management, Project Accounting, Engineering, Manufacturing,
Quality and Accounting information systems for the division.
Hired to lead and program manage the business in the ERP/MRP and accounting defense manufacturing
implementation from vendor selection through implementation:
- Established project tasks, milestones and metrics.

- Lead departments in value stream mapping exercises.

- Architected and implemented SAN/NAS to store ERP data.
- Consolidated 52 servers to 14 servers.
- Architected a Security Monitoring, Analysis and Response System for the self-defending of division’s
network against intrusions, vulnerabilities, attacks and network anomalies.
- Set the standards for personal computer virus, spam, firewall and encryption standards.
Project managed the Divisional Business Continuity Plan for the facility. Managed the IT Sarbanes Oxley
Compliance plan, self-testing and remediation. Lead the development of company Intranet. Placed company e-
news, I.T. e-news, benefits, procedures, polices, e-forms, engineering drawings, e-training manuals all on-line
for the employee’s ease of access.

1984 to 2001…Director Business System’s providing business systems oversight for a $2 billion in revenue
division. Joined The Walt Disney Company as a Programmer Analyst and advanced to Director I.T. Business
Systems leading a staff of 25 programmers, analysts and DBA’s. Led multiple Disney business units through
new ERP application (Dun & Bradstreet, Oracle & PeopleSoft) and custom development implementations and
advanced system upgrades to capitalize upon current technologies and process improvements.
Directed all activities related to the design, implementation, maintenance and end user training for cost
accounting systems supporting 9 domestic and international business units:
- Managed a staff of 25 programmers and database administrators.
- Controlled a $6 million operating budget.
- Fully accountable for overall strategy for technology, acquisition, integration, data mining, vendor
selection and negotiation, user requirements gathering, project budgeting and administration,

Supervised I.S. applications development staff responsible for Walt Disney Imagineering:
- Prepared detailed Information Service project authorization requests, budgets, resource requirements
and succession planning.
