A senior operations manager reporting directly to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of IDT Telecom tasked

with managing a variety of functions for the Administration of IDT Telecom and its parent company IDT

Corporation. Specifically:

• Analyzing existing business operations to facilitate streamlining and troubleshooting business processes for

greater organizational efficiencies.

• Timely production of requirement documentation and project deliverables.

• Identifying means to reduce administration costs company-wide. Project-managed a due-diligence and was

able to reduce FedEx charges by approximately 12%.

• Designing and maintaining corporate policies for mobile devices and working with wireless carriers to reduce

costs and structure optimal communication within the global corporation.

• Tasked with space planning, construction design and project management to facilitate physical space

reorganization within the corporation. Coordinating the moves of multiple large departments to bring the

approved plans to fruition.

• Reviewing internal allocations from the parent company, including methodology and appropriateness of

charges as well as researching ways to reduce current allocations.

MANAGER, GLOBAL NETWORK PLANNING NEWARK, NJ

Managed IDT’s Network Planning Team and was tasked with assuring optimal traffic flow of voice traffic through

IDT’s voice and data networks servicing IDT’s pre-paid calling card platforms and IDT’s carrier arbitrage

concern. Responsibilities included:

• Budgeting for future needs based on sales forecasts and traffic patterns specifically:

o Working with IDT Business teams with a focus on IDT’s pre-paid retail and IDT’s US and European

wholesale divisions to help plan their technology needs for the future. This included capital expenditures and

development needs as well as serving as a primary point of contact into the IDT Technology groups. The

functions served were not limited to an “Account Manager”-type relationship, assuring that their needs were fully

represented within IDT’s Engineering & Operations division, and assisting them in meeting their technology and

business objectives.

o Documenting high-level business and technical requirements.

o Driving those requirements through the IDT Capital Budget Planning process.

• Analyzing new interconnection capacities (TDM and VoIP) and balancing proposed bandwidth across

different nodes of IDT‘s voice network to maximize both cost and quality efficiencies of trunk utilization.

• Evaluating current port usage of inbound telephony carriers to IDT’s pre-paid calling card platforms and

making recommendations in relation to capacity adjustments (TDM and VoIP).

• Network analyses of international bandwidth capacities resulting in recommendations for augmentation or

grooming of ports/circuits across all platforms.

SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER, ENGINEERING & OPERATIONS PISCATAWAY AND NEWARK, NJ

Senior member of the Project Management Department and later lead the Project Management Department -

responsibilities included managing all cross-organizational telephony projects as well as Product Management

for the various business groups. Including:

• Managing all pre-paid calling card platform augmentations during IDT Telecom’s expansions with its Local

Access service into the “NFL cities” and exponential growth in its National Toll-free service.

• Project managed service turn-ups of international carrier interconnections. The method of long haul

transport included submarine cable, satellite, and/or VoIP.

• Coordinated “Hot-cut” Service Platform migrations including migrations to VoIP platforms.

• Primary point of contact for both internal and external co-location customers who were housed in the IDT

facility in Piscataway as well as all internal customers co-locating in all IDT facilities in the US and abroad,

facilitating all technical aspects as well as any local needs related to co-locating in IDT’s facility.

• Principal liaison to Net2phone (IDT’s VoIP Division) for all technical requests within the IDT Technology

group including any issues related to Net2phone’s co-location in IDT facilities in the US and abroad.
