Function: Senior Graphic Designer.

Responsibilities: My work for this company developing sell sheets for new books before they

were advertised to the public, and incorporated them into campaigns to attract bookstores into

acquiring more books. It was challenging to use the design of the book, and critic reviews to

conceptualize the final sell sheet.

Chase Manhattan Mortgage Corporation

Function: Graphic Designer

Responsibilities: My designing logos, ads, and brochure layouts for Chase on its busiest

months were a challenge. Worked in the mortgage department which trained many brokers

and had many functions and promotions. Designing and having a fast turn around time for so

many different projects has benefited me to problem solve efficiently utilizing Quark, Adobe

Photoshop and Illustrator.

Dotto Advertising

Function: Graphic artist and Illustrator

Responsibilities: Successfully produced my illustrations and incorporated text for magazines

published for the city of Jersey City. My first task was designing illustrations ranging from

cartoon art to medical drawings. The different magazines covered muscle magazines to

cartoon art for city funded public awareness. Combing the elements of my own illustration and

text was relatively easy since I could make a design to fit the words instead of the other way

around. I had to learn a new program, at the time it was Adobe Photoshop 2, which is now at

version CS4.

Volunteer Work at the Stanley Theater Assembly Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses

Function: Assistant Caretaker/ Receptionist/ Tour Guide

Responsibilities: My duties at this historic building are, maintenance, overseeing the cleaning

of the building and troubleshooting mechanical flaws. I give direction to other volunteers who

arrive to clean on specific days, and also am scheduled as a receptionist. On some nights I

work as a night watchmen. and on some days as a tour guide.
