BIMBO BAKERIES US, Ft. Worth, TX. 2007 – 2009

ENEREGY/SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER

Responsible for all energy/sustainability projects for 14 bakeries throughout the US. Established standards, system

audits and tracking systems, prepared project descriptions, calculated project savings and appropriated capital funds

for 47 major energy projects (2008). Interfaced with environmental, production and sales to provide energy

reduction and environmental impacts to major purchasers. Compressed air, steam, lighting, water resources,

electricity and natural gas systems were evaluated. Alternate energy sources such as wind and solar were also

studied.

● Orchestrated successful completion of 47 energy projects with an annual savings in excess of 2MM and a

substantial reduction in emissions.

● Developed the scope of work, prepared capital requests, prepared budgets and time tables for 47 energy

related projects for 2008.
