In charge of fast track division at Episcopal Hospital Emergency Room

Treat patients from ages 6 months - 90 (infants to elderly patients)

Experience with suturing, splinting, removal of foreign bodies from ears and

skin, inserting IV lines, and drawing blood

Ordering and interpretation of radiological and laboratory studies

Perform persantine thallium, thallium, and non-thallium stress test in the stress

Evaluate 30-80 patients on daily basis

Assessment and Staging of various wounds, ordering and implementation of

wound care.

Perform admission and annual physicals, intake screenings, sick call visits,

prenatal and post partum care, emergency evaluations, STD treatments and pap

smears.

Supervise 5-6 nurses per shift

Make hospital and specialty referrals as needed

Draw blood, IV line insertions, IM injections, perform EKGs, perform I&D

procedures, application of sutures, and administration of immunizations.
