EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
2007- 2009 IT Consultant & Sr. Business Analyst/Architect
Title Guaranty, Honolulu, HI
Architect for new state-of-the-art title and escrow applications, enhancements to existing
systems and comprehensive replacement of legacy UNIX title and escrow systems with the
selection and customization of SoftPro Select. These web-based systems included both internal
and client facing applications that comprise the entire core business IT infrastructure of
proprietary strategic, mission critical systems.
This position spanned GUI design, scope definition, requirements, business rules and process
flows, business intelligence application design and programming, as well as technical
consultation on data architecture, data modeling and technical specifications spanning the entire
software development life cycle (SDLC).
My role as subject matter expert in both Title and Escrow services required the use of Visio to
translate user interviews into business process flows, application process flows and data
structure diagrams to map data sources. It also required translating Unix capabilities into
Windows capabilities, defining and mapping data models from one environment to the other
while preserving data integrity.
I also created report specifications, testing scenarios, graphical user interfaces, application
scope definitions, business process models (BPM), use case definitions, business rules, data
warehouse architecture definitions, and administration/security protocols, i.e., defining roles and
rights by user class, along with content needed for the technical specification. My ability to
communicate with executives, managers, users, developers and testers resulted in accurate
specifications and successful software releases.
