PROCESS SCIENTIST - Novartis Nutrition 1996-1998

Protocol, process control, and quality assurance of 1,000+ SKU’s of medical-

based food supplements, including shelf-stable, low-acid meal replacements

and enteral-feed products. (ISO9000-9001)

- Oversaw multiple plant responsibilities, including record review of

thermal processing documents and final release of material.

- Documented, monitored, and mentored HACCP plan, ISO, and safety programs.

- Supervised lab technicians and the sampling/ testing/ analysis of

organoleptic, physical, chemical, and microbial properties.

- Discovered, managed, and remedied hundreds of thermal-processing

deviations and manufacturing/ personnel incidents.
