Attn Hiring Personnel:
I know that the diversity in knowledge and experience I have obtained will be a contributing asset for
this company’s needs. I have worked in Engineering for approximately 20 years performing many
various engineering tasks. I have also worked in the Commercial, Industrial and Residential
Construction Industry for over 10 years. As my enclosed resume indicates, I have successfully
completed projects and made appointed deadlines. I have many assets to offer such as: excellence in
organizational, communications, prioritization skills, accuracy, motivation, ambitious, self disciplined,
a team player as well as quick learning capabilities.
Although I have worked in the contract employment arena, it was only due to playing professional
football and did not want to make a commitment I knew I would not keep. My last two positions prior
to managing my own company were permanent careers at Coastal Electrical who went out of
business and AB & Palumbo Electrical, which decided to close doors after many years in the
business. I am seeking stable employment and not contract employment so we can utilize all my
assets for Company, Clientele and personal growth. I am an optimist, easy to get along with and carry
myself in a professional manner.
My business was tied to this Real Estate Market collapse and when times were slow, I contracted out
my services to MEP companies in the Houston Market to Design and Estimate Fire Protection,
Mechanical, Plumbing and Electrical Construction, so I very well versed in what it takes to make a
building operational. I am willing to relocate as required and I am not tied here to the Houston area at
all, not a house or family to move and can start immediately.
I look forward to talking with you in regards to the opportunities you have available and to set up an
interview.
The bottom-line in hiring me as opposed to another candidate you are considering, is that you
will not regret hiring me!
Thank you for reviewing my information as well as your time and considerations
Sincerely,
Gregory A. O’Neal
