Assigned to a very Fast Paced, exciting Project, with extremely aggressive deadlines, providing the IT

solution for merging a company that has gone into bankruptcy and been purchased by another Party

Planning Business. Responsible for the coordination and the completion of this project. Oversee all

aspects of the merging of these companies. Set deadlines, assigned responsibilities, monitored and

summarized progress of the project. Prepared reports for upper management and the Business

Sponsors regarding the status of the project.

SAPPHIRE TECHNOLOGIES – DALLAS, TX

Senior Project Manager – Network Engineering – June 2007 to Dec 2008

Assigned to: Verizon Business, Richardson, TX

Managing IT development projects for three Network Engineering Inventory Management applications,

communicating with internal and external management and end users.

Simultaneously managed, tracked, documented, and reported to the PMO, the project schedules and

progress for up to 26 projects simultaneously.

W orked closely with the PMO, supplying all required docum entation, financial spreadsheets, etc.

Facilitated JAD/JAR sessions working with a team of developers and testers.

Developed and managed to the LOE’s, bringing projects to implementation under budget and ahead of

Senior Project Manager-Billing Operations, 2005 - 2007

Managed new service bureau and licensee customers Carrier Access Billing (CABS) implementations,

exceeding customer requirements and increasing company revenue. Communicated with internal and

external management and the users to determine specific program and project requirements. Provided

leadership from inception of new contracts, through implementation; managing project schedules,

resource allocations, change control, risks, and expenses, ensuring that customer deadlines were

satisfied within project budgets.

Produced and maintained all project documentation, including status reports and exec utive

management updates, to ensure financial and technical compliance standards.

Managed the Dallas portion of Intec’s global Remedy system and SAP financial time entry and

expense implementations, including the UAT (user acceptance testing), and user training of the Billing

Led an eight-person production support team for billing mediation, ensuring consistent 24/7 system

implementation, ensuring all defined deliverables were met within the program budget and timeline.

IT-Senior Business Analyst, 2000 – 2001

Sr. Business Analyst supporting all aspects of life-cycle development and work ed very closely with the

Business partners and Data Customers. Managed the full life-cycle of a variety of project management

assignments, communicated project updates and statuses to all levels of management. This position

required regular interaction and coordination with many cross -functional groups including development

teams, business teams, customers and infrastructure and internal operational and technology groups.

Ensured compliance with enterprise procedures and provided initial support for users. W orked with

Performed as Lead Business Analyst for Excel’s entry into the local phone service market, a proof of

concept project resulting in a new line of business, which accounted for 30% of the company’s

revenue.

Led mediation team for the quality conversion and implementation of a new $13 million billing platform

which serviced 7+ million customers. Defined deliverables were completed on time and 10% under

budget, satisfying the customers’ requirements.

Facilitated joint application requirements/design (JAR/JAD) sessions meeting customer requirements.

Authored all necessary business requirements, functional requirements and detailed design

documents to satisfy technical compliance standards.

Managed implementation of mediation resulting in a savings to the company of $48.9 million per year.

EDS, Plano, Texas

IT-Technical Specialist, 1998 - 2000

Created the EDS*CRM State Farm Banking and Suruga Japan Banking Projects. Developed and coded

new programs, utilizing the full system life cycle methodology (SDLC), allowing banks the ability to

interface with outside vendors. Provided operational support for the installation of newly developed

Project Manager, 1996 - 1998

Led wireless communications project, managing the entire project life cycle including request for quotes,

awarding vendor contracts, and personal installation and maintenance of the wireless metropolitan area

networks, resulting in a significant decrease in land-line costs for 10 largest banking customers.

IT Senior Business Analyst, 1994 - 1996

Converted three major banks, including 100+ full service branches in Puerto Rico, from 1994 through

1996. This effort required direct, on-site contact with the customer. Gathered requirements, facilitated

daily status meetings regarding procedures and processes that would best serve the customer, as well

as, ensuring consistency and data integrity within the system.
