Grand Format Printer, Dockside Canvas, Harrison Township, MI. 2008-2009

Hired to head up print department in fast paced and high volume exhibit based display company. Printed

mostly with dye sublimation process using 3 and 5 meter HP Scitex 1200 Printers and 74” and 104”

Roland Printers. The process included heat transferring printed images to a variety of fabric substrates

using Klieverik transfer process

machines.

Grand Format Printer, Innovative Media, Madison Heights, MI. 2003-2008

Grand format printing using Vutek UltraVu 5300 and Vutrk 3360 machines to print a multiple variety of

graphic displays. Anything from vehicle wraps to wallpaper murals and automotive dealership branding

images. Was first introduced to dye sublimation process here using the Vutek 3360.

Display Technician and Large Format Printer, KSK Photo Lab, Troy, MI. 2000-2003

Hired as head of mounting and display department where we produced a variety of exhibit displays using

photographic prints which we applied to different types of substrates such as gator board, plexi glass and

sintra boards using multiple kinds of adhesives. Also learned to do grand format printing on Vutek 5300.

Was sent to Vutek headquarters in New Hampshire to learn all aspects of printing using their machines;

from file set up, color theory and repair.

Display Technician, Photobition (Detroit) “Meteor Photo”, Troy, MI. 1997-2000

In January of 1997 I was hired as a display technician and trained in all aspects of photographic mounting

and laminating. My duties included mounting photographic materials such as film, Duratrans and ink jet

images to a vast number of substrates. I also did laminating and Durasealing of the same materials. Most

of this work was of large multi paneled images for exhibit type displays.

Display Technician, Capitol Reproduction, Madison Heights, MI. 1996-1997

Was in charge of mounting and reproduction of display graphics such as photos and reproduction line art

on films. My duties included using reproduction stat cameras such as Opti Copy and Robertson cameras.

I was also in charge of all mounting and laminating of display graphics onto foam or gator board

substrates.

Employed as a camera man trainee; learned the company system in less than two years and was

promoted to senior technician of the contact department. My work responsibilities included; reproducing

and/or copying original drawings, printed circuits or paste-up art boards to film negatives. I was also

responsible for maintenance of film processors and general equipment. I was promoted to assistant

supervisor of the night shift in the reproduction department. My duties included using all reproduction

cameras such as Opti copy, Nu Ark and Robertson cameras. Also in charge of mounting and display

department.

Two years experience in setup and display of retail merchandise. Set-up in store displays, dress

mannequins and install decorative window treatments for exterior windows.
