Director of Information Technology – Responsible for overall planning, organizing, and
execution of all IT functions for CoachComm, LLC. This includes directing all IT operations to
meet customer requirements as well as the support and maintenance of existing infrastructure,
applications, and development of new technical solutions.
• Plan and implement additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting
infrastructure company-wide in coordination with corporate leadership.
• Oversee the implementation of network security at the corporate level.

• Oversee the planning and management of the company's telephone system and manages
company-wide upgrade efforts.

Director of IT/Operations – Responsible for company’s entire product lines and all aspects of
planning, procurement, inventory control, manufacturing and assembly, shipping/receiving and
customer service. CoachComm is the leader in the sports electronic industry with 100% of the
NFL and 99% Division 1A Colleges as its customers.
• Responsible for all operations of the company. These consists of scheduling jobs when
necessary based on a forecast, purchasing the inventory for production, making sure
production is completed in a timely manner, and orders are fulfilled to our end user
customers.
• Instrumental in the strategic planning of the business. Helped develop a three year strategic
business plan. Spearheading a movement to establish ‘best practice’ processes throughout the
business. Presented to Senior Management as necessary.
• Daily management of the Information Technology, Production, Customer Service, Quality,
Inventory, Shipping/Receiving, Purchasing, and Planning departments. (7 direct reports and
30+ people)
• Responsible for over $3 million dollars of inventory. Have established inventory control
methods and metrics (tracking and accuracy, turns). Responsible for the day to day inventory
levels in a highly seasonal business.
• Work jointly with suppliers to plan, develop, and implement improved material management
systems to ultimately increase the quality and reduce costs of incoming products.
• Built a Customer Service department. Turned the department into a profit center to help
offset cash flow in the slow months. Increased revenue by 100% over the last two years.
• Worked with vendors to negotiate the best price for our parts. Have reduced our overall costs
of goods by over 25%.
• Championed a Lean manufacturing effort in the Production department. We implemented
cellular manufacturing, an inventory supermarket, 5S, and are working on setting up a true
pull system to pull the inventory throughout the production process.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP/MRP system and Product Lifecycle Management system

• Spearheaded the installation, implementation, and roll-out of Agile PLM to track
documentation and ECO’s through their product lifecycle.

January 2000 – December 2001
• Worked with outside Engineering companies on special projects such as CoachComm’s
Commando Remote. This was a project where we designed and brought manufacturing in
house. Reduced cost of goods from $175 per item to $32.
• Assumed the responsibilities of the Information Technology department. Supported internal
users and a 15 user Novell/Windows network.
• Maintained the ERP system which consisted of general ledger, purchasing, inventory, and
sales modules.
• Supported customers who had purchased our linear and non-linear editing systems via the
phone.
Knology Inc, West Point, GA – Systems Analyst
June 1998 – December 1999
• Setup and implemented JD Edwards, the company’s ERP system. This project encompassed
the accounting, purchasing, general ledger, and inventory systems. Had to migrate inventory
from legacy ERP system.
• Was on a team that implemented company’s telephony billing system.
• Helped maintain the legacy billing system which accounted for 50% of the revenue for the
company.
• Installed and supported end users at multiple company locations.

• Implemented company’s first Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) system. Consisted of
sending purchase orders and order acknowledgements.
