• Played key role in negotiating with a major competitor to create a new JV Sales and Marketing Company with
a scope of $1.5Billion revenue, strengthening the market position of our U.S. business. Also appointed to Board.
• Attracted European investment of $150+ Million for a new Citric Acid production facility
adjacent to our Canadian plant, and negotiated long-term across-the-fence agreement yielding $7 Million annual
margin growth
• Developed 3 new strategic alliances with U.S. and European partners, to expand and solidify a leading market
position in the corrugating and paper sector as a full service supplier.
• Negotiated long-term raw material supply, property access, and services agreements ($60MM
annual revenue) with acquirer of a business sharing our property.
• Led a team of international affiliates, and negotiated a global bidding process, with a major
multinational customer (revenue of approx. $100MM).
• Developed complete business model and joint venture investment to enter the fuel ethanol
business.
• Developed global Dextrose leadership strategy, and implemented significant expansion rollout
plan for capacity increases, BPC compliance, as well as investment strategy for growth in high value-added
products (total investment of $92MM). Led a Global Business Team to facilitate coordination of business on an
international basis. (Mexico, South America, SE Asia).
• Negotiated National exclusivity agreement with major Distributor for LTL sales, resulting in $2
