QUALIFICATIONS

Nineteen years of electronics experience on analog, digital and RF circuitry. Fourteen years experience on

phase-frequency, phase-phase array and Doppler radar, point to point microwave radio, antenna systems

and amateur/commercial radio. Twenty-One years experience as a computer operator and technician.

Trained on Windows 95/98/NT/XP/2000, some UNIX, C++ Programming, LAN/WAN Management,

CISCO router and HPOpenview NNM. Practiced router and switching management. Over seven years

Wireless Coordination Engineer

2008 – 2009

Provide in-building wireless system performance testing of cellular/PCS and WLAN 802.11 networks to

determine the current RF environment at a customer’s site. Work independently, with little direction, on

a variety of in-building network performance projects. Responsible for developing tools/software/reports

that are intended to show current RF performance, automate statistical analysis of data, spot trends, and

present the findings to management/engineers and to external wide area network (WAN) service

providers. Coordinate test results and act as technical liaison with external WAN providers for pre-sales

support of proposed in-building coverage solutions and support related activities in developing optimum

wireless WAN service solutions for major customer opportunities. Visit customer sites, in support of

sales, to conduct detailed in-building RF site survey. Deliver detailed in-building coverage characteristic

to WAN providers. Follow up with WAN providers to secure WAN provider input and specifications for

coverage, signal strength and connection method(s) for customer proposals. Coordinate between WAN

providers, Operations and Sales for WAN connection(s) to customer installations. Testing and analyzing

network coverage using various test equipment (Spectrum analyzer, Interference Analysis, Drive Test,

Motorola Enterprise Solutions) at customer specific sites to determine their current wireless RF

environment. Produce detailed reports that will outline the results of the RF in-building survey.

RF Applications & Test Engineer

Provide primary LF, HF and UHF RFID engineering implementation, application, test and analysis

support to the company’s core customers. Provide internal sales support as a lead technical resource &

design, path analysis, line of site confirmation, purchasing equipment, maintenance authorizations,

methods of procedure composition, maintenance requirements, overcoming engineering technicalities

antennae crew coordination and DS1 test, turn up and analysis. Able to solve problems, research data,

Statewide Radio Operations and E911 Operations (Manager / Microwave Engineer)

FCC licensed (GROL + ship radar license # PG-GB-059566) with the responsibility of over 120

California North Coast and Bay area radio sites. Licensed by the FCC as an amateur radio service class

technician (call sign KF6ZOZ). Oversee the installation and maintenance of company internal radio and

trunk systems. Experienced and adept at trouble shooting procedures. Provide technical support on

provisioning and maintenance on all microwave radio's including the use of various test equipment such

as the spectrum analyzer, frequency counter, power meter T-BERD test sets, multi-meter and

oscilloscopes. Plan and develop area radio jobs requiring knowledge of microwave radio, UHF radio,

transmission requirements, path design, Methods of Procedure, maintenance requirements, engineering

complaints, CSQFR reports and transmission memorandums. Manage projects on time and on budget.
