Highlights RF Engineer Miami MTA CDMA: Assisted the Miami MTA (Major Trading Area) in the execution
of construction, implementation, integration, testing, commissioning, and optimization of the Southeast’s
largest Sprint PCS market. Oversaw the drives performed by the Optimization Specialist prior to and
after commissioning of sites, as well as, quarterly drives. Improved statistical numbers of the network area
through the design of efficient networks and antenna selection.
Achievements:
Commissioned over 10 sites without fault in the Deerfield area, which included a Moratorium. Created
TWT (Technical Walk Through) documents, which provided emergency relief, for blocking areas with
minimal coverage, as a preliminar y part of a 2001/2002 Capacity Plan for Miami. Performed CW
(Continuous Wave) tests to support intricate data for TWT requisition approval. Reduced drops and
access fails in the Deerfield area of Miami by 6.8%. Maintained and optimized a group of approximately 75
+ sites.

Project Leadership Assignments:
RBS Implementation Bellsouth C.O.N.D.O.R Project
Successfully converted Bellsouth’s southeastern area from Hughes and Motorola networks to Ericsson.
Promoted to Supervisor, of approximately 25+ RF testers, within a 4-month period. Coordinated and
maintained a test schedule, which included drive testing and scheduled maintenance, as well as, created a
spreadsheet document with data containing site information translations for consultation with Bellsouth
executives, RF, and MTSO.
Achievements:
Performed site surveys for Ericsson potential site locations. Constructed 100 + Radio Base Stations (RBS)
from start up to finish. Completed installation and integration of internal end-to-end electronics from
battery, cabling, multiplexers, diplexers, and antenna jumpers. Conducted switch tests on each RBS.
Commissioned over 300 sites. Consistently conducted new tech support training.
