Assumed this role in 2005 following the acquisition of MJ Research by Bio-Rad Laboratories. Responsible for managing day-
to-day operations in R&D and manufacturing for DNA amplification instrumentation business unit with approximately 125
employees. Significant accomplishments include;
Managed the integration of MJ Research into Bio-Rad business practices, operations and enterprise wide business systems.
Initiated plant consolidation and outsourcing plan which reduced annual operating costs by over $3.0M.
Led implementation of a 25K sf manufacturing center in Singapore that resulted in product cost reductions of ~30%
Renegotiated facility lease into smaller more cost effective facility resulting in $1.5M in annual cost savings.

connection with certain patented PCR technologies. Significant accomplishments included;
Financial and tax compliance and reporting for parent, three operating subsidiaries and multiple international offices.
Initiated monthly manufacturing operation reviews, developed business performance metrics, implemented and monitored
operating budgets and provided strategic analysis.
Restructured accounting department in order to provide more accurate and timely information to the business.
