Robilante Plant & Guidonia Plant, Italy (07/01 – 06/02): Participated in a training program focused on operations and quality

control for the cement industry sponsored by Cementos Moctezuma which forms a partnership with Buzzi Unicem and Ciments
Molins. Certified the use of alternative fuels resulting in a savings of 10% in fuel expenses which represented 30% of total costs.
And developed a pollutant emissions reduction project which resulted in a 30% nitric oxide reduction. Developed a study to
determine the actual pollutant emissions conditions and proposed a plan to reduce them, performed for all 17 plants in the group.
Molins de Rey – Ciments Molins, Spain (07/02 – 08/02): Worked with the Operations Chief to improve fuel efficiency

consumption in the kiln which resulted in a 1% reduction and a significant decrease in fuel costs.
01/01 – 06/01 Honeywell Automotive, Monterrey, Mexico
Six Sigma Internal Consulting Project Coordinator (01/01- 06/01)
Coordinated a cross-functional facility improvement addressing inventory problems, as part of the Six Sigma internal consulting

team, the liaison between Canada and Mexico. Discovered more than $1M in variances between the system and the inventory. In
this project I also implemented a scrap report and reduction project which saved more than 10% in raw material costs.
