Managed P&L, financial accounting, reporting, and financial operations for the Emulsions business line. Performed yearly

budget and monthly forecasts. Worked with the executive team to align financial strategies, and participated in the ongoing

refinement of the activity based cost model to improve the overall profitability.

Performed pricing and profitability analysis to evaluate new business opportunities, resulting in $1M profit.

Created and improved financial models to better forecast variable margin and operating Ebitda.

Negotiated five company acquisitions, serving as the leader in one, constructed Financial Valuation Models to evaluate potential

business risks, performed due diligence analyses resulting in three company acquisitions of $10M and one merger with a $3M

transaction value, conducted extensive market research and created a confidential information memorandum to acquaint and

inform a prospective purchaser with relevant preliminary information

Created financial reports to model future investments in oil and gas; investment approval valued at $100M for year-end 2006.

07/01-12/04 Cementos Moctezuma San Luis Potosi, Mexico / Buzzi Unicem Casale, Italy

Chief Area Manager (04/04 – 12/04)

Coordinated and managed all construction and project activities in the civil and structural area which included the construction of

more than 10 buildings for the housing of capital equipment.

Managed external contractors with a labor force of more than 1000 employees. Civil construction completed ahead of schedule.

Project Planner and Controller (09/02 -03/04)

Managed all activities for the civil, mechanical and electrical project managers, and coordinated the labor among 10 external

contractors in the construction of a new $150M cement plant. The project was completed two months ahead of schedule and

earned approximately $22M dollars in gross revenue.

Negotiated capital equipment purchase contracts and established delivery logistics with local and international suppliers,

reducing equipment cost and delivery times. Approximate equipment value was $10M.

Reduced projected budget overruns by 10% to a final overrun of approximately 0.4%.

Process Engineer, (Multi-plant experience 07/01 – 08/02)

Robilante Plant & Guidonia Plant, Italy (07/01 – 06/02): Participated in a training program focused on operations and quality

control for the cement industry sponsored by Cementos Moctezuma which forms a partnership with Buzzi Unicem and Ciments

Molins. Certified the use of alternative fuels resulting in a savings of 10% in fuel expenses which represented 30% of total costs.

And developed a pollutant emissions reduction project which resulted in a 30% nitric oxide reduction. Developed a study to

determine the actual pollutant emissions conditions and proposed a plan to reduce them, performed for all 17 plants in the group.

Molins de Rey – Ciments Molins, Spain (07/02 – 08/02): Worked with the Operations Chief to improve fuel efficiency

consumption in the kiln which resulted in a 1% reduction and a significant decrease in fuel costs.

01/01 – 06/01 Honeywell Automotive, Monterrey, Mexico

Six Sigma Internal Consulting Project Coordinator (01/01- 06/01)

Coordinated a cross-functional facility improvement addressing inventory problems, as part of the Six Sigma internal consulting

team, the liaison between Canada and Mexico. Discovered more than $1M in variances between the system and the inventory. In

this project I also implemented a scrap report and reduction project which saved more than 10% in raw material costs.
