Project Description: Worked as a Peoplesoft Tech Lead and Upgrade Specialist

Brief Description of the Project:

Lead the team in Upgrading Michelin HR and Payroll system. Michelin is using

Peoplesoft as their HR and Payroll System. The current production of Michelin's HR

and Payroll application is on Version 8.3 and Peopletools version 8.18. We are

upgrading this to Peoplesoft Application version 8.9 and Peopletools version 8.47.12.

We are currenlty on Maintenance Pack 6 in couple of the Upgraded Peoplesoft

Development Instances. The RDBMS used is Oracle. Currently There are 9 Peoplesoft

Instances in Development BoxThis project goes thru the following stages prior to going

Live:

1. Initial Upgrade

2. MTP(Move To Production) 1 through MTP 3

3. Planned for 3 Mock Upgrades.

Currently, We are on Mock3 (expected to complete this week) This project is expected

to Go Live in October of 2007

My Role on this project is as follows:

was non existent when i started working on this project.

10. Successfully troubleshooted the issue that the client was facing with respect to

PSDAEMON. The Client uses PSDAEMON for posting reports that were run outside of

Peoplesoft Process Scheduler (For example: from Command Line in Unix)

11. Spent numerous hours with the Clients Nework/Firewall teams in troubleshooting

the Uploading Peoplesoft Environments to Peoplesoft Gateway.

12. In the process of working on a process to Convert All Peoplesoft Web Servers

Instance(Previously there was no set order that was followed by the Client. For

example, if WSL and JSL port were 7040 and 9040, the Webserver had 8070 for http

and 8170 for https After the synchronization, the same instance would have this,

7060, 9060, 8060 and 8065 respectively.
