Responsibilities: Designing a new Database system in Microsoft
SQL Server 2005 with an Aspx User Interface for the second largest
police department in the United States. I migrated their data from
Fox Pro 2.0 to the new Microsoft SQL Server 2005 using Microsoft
Access and Microsoft Office 2007 by converting and restructuring
their old data into the new database structure and format. I was also
involved with the requirement gathering and systems design using
an appropriate development methodology which comprised of
UML notations and Microsoft Visio diagrams to represent data flow
and reporting. I carried out Systems testing and supervised Client
testing of the new Software system. I coordinated the successful
implementation and rolling out of the new system in the police
department.
