At Mikasa - Saved approximately $ 8 million dollars by consolidating
vendors, rebuilding failing relationships, and setting the stage to cancel a
large block of existing orders that would have financially crippled both
the company and the vendors.
At Mikasa - Contributed to increased profits by negotiating with vendors
to hold down a price increase to 0.7%, while other economic factors were
going through the roof.
At Mikasa – Built a high performance team relationship among
Marketing, Design and Supply Chain resulting in a 30% faster time,
concept to market, and increasing “fill the shelf” from 60% to a 90%
success rate.

At Goebel – Contributed to $59 million in new sales, within 4 years, by
functioning as the process liaison, including concept development and
management to the German parent convent licensee, customer and
vendor.
At Goebel – Built a profitable relationship with key vendor of high
quality resin sculptures, in England, by building positive consensus with
him that led to Asian sourcing, and a dramatic decrease, (50%), in
production cost.
At Russ Berrie – Created order out of chaos for the product concept and
development process by designing a product tracking system that enabled
meeting the seasonal market plan schedules.

Responsible for 6 direct reports, and the sourcing department, crystal, ceramic and stainless
flatware, including the packaging process for the gift boxes for each product. Coordinated the
vendor relationships with the supply chain and cross-functional relationships with other
departments.
