Education:

Bachelor of Science, Electrical and Communications Engineering 1997-2002

Facultad de Ingeniería Mecánica y Eléctrica en la Universidad Autónoma de N.L

January 1998- December 2002.

Objective:

Career as a Geomechanics, Reservoir Engineer, Production Engineer, or Petrophysicist in a

position that allows me to use my knowledge of the latest analytical techniques to understand

the reservoir behavior, geology, geomechanical and fluid properties to generate reservoir

estimates as well as optimizing drilling procedures to maximize production and minimize

risks and costs.

Professional Interests:

Multi-disciplinary collaboration with geoscientists, and petroleum engineers to solve

subsurface geological, geophysical and reservoir engineering issues by providing a full

description of the subsurface through integration of all borehole data relative to well -log

interpretation; reservoir characterization; lithologic and stratigraphic interpretation and

correlation; distribution of reservoir pressures and formation fluid properties; and seismic

rock properties analysis.

Skills:

-Formation evaluation, including data acquisition; analysis and interpretation of open and

cased hole logs; mud logs; coring procedures and analysis related to standard and specialized

sidewall, rotary sidewall, and conventional cores and techniques; subsurface fluid sampling

and analysis; RFT and drill stem test procedures and analysis; and pore pressure prediction

and analysis.

-Identify hydrocarbon bearing zones with detailed evaluation results delineating net pay

thickness, effective porosities and permeability, fluid saturations, mineralogy, fractures

and/or fracture barriers, and estimation of original oil/gas in-place in order to recommend

testing, perforation, completion, and stimulation options and procedures.

-Integration of borehole derived rock properties with geophysical data, including well ties,

fluid substitution and mechanical properties.

-Familiarity with a variety of software packages, including various log analysis and log

viewing software, Predict and its applications as: 3D, Geo-stress, Wellbore Stability, Presage

Modeling, Safe Seal, Well-Plan, Microsoft Office.

-Skilled in Geomechanics, Petrophysics, pre-drill/real-time/post-drill analysis, and open

hole logging applications.

- Experienced in participating in different projects at once and will commit to achieve the

maximum professional development. I am sociable, responsible and motivated.

-Possesses leadership skills that are useful in stressful situations. With strong experience in

teamwork, I believe myself to be capable of applying my knowledge & skills to satisfy any

challenge.

Work Experience: (Over 5 years experience in the Oil & Gas Industry)

Halliburton-Landmark (Knowledge Systems, Inc.) May 2008 - To present

Geomechanics Engineer

Created pore pressure and wellbore stability analysis services that provide an

innovative approach to help understand the subsurface environment, reduce uncertainty

and optimize wellbore design for ensured safety, success and efficiency.

Geomechanics - Realtime operations center, follow methodologies, expert analysts

and trusted software technologies to produce the industry's most dependable prediction

of pore and fracture pressures. Combining this with advanced geomechanical analysis

results in a robust pre-drill assessment that can be used as the foundation for a

comprehensive well plan and trajectory analysis and risk management.

Knowledge Systems, Inc. Jun 2007 - May 2008

Geopressure Analyst

Pre-drill, Real time and Post drill Pore pressure analysis and Geomechanic analysis.

Accurately forecast and address pore pressure, fracture gradient and Overburden

gradient at multi well locations

Increase safety and avoid costly problems such as kicks, stuck pipe, lost of

circulation and blow outs

Improve drilling efficiency

Provide engineering expertise and support for other aspects of production.

Evaluate oil and gas reservoir performance and depletion strategies.

Analyze actual field data and recommend new projects for increasing reserves.

Perform reserve evaluations estimating reserves and recoveries.

Develop and maintain strong working relationships with field operations personnel

Precision Drilling Oilfield Services August 2004 – Feb 2007

Field Engineer

Perform logging runs as an Open Hole Field Engineer

Training in borehole Log interpretation to identify the various layers crossed by the

borehole and evaluate the probability of the presence of hydrocarbons and expected

amount and quality present

Characteristics and production capacity and quality of the reservoir.

Integrate well, production and reservoir data to deliver a method to view, relate and

analyze reservoir and production data to accurately quantify downhole flow regimes.

Received through introduction to the complete process of how to give maintenance to

all kind of Open Hole Tools (STI, SPEED, Gamma Ray) and handle of nuclear tools

as BCS and Compensated Neutron, Maintenance of logging truck, and cranes.

Through training on all aspects of the process of borehole logging and equipm ent

handling (Induction, Resistivity, Laterolog, Porosity, Density, Cement Bond, Sonic,

and Perforation Tools, among others).

Comisión Federal de Electricidad, Gerencia Regional de Producción Norte.

Professional practices (one and half year of experience)
