JABBER, INC. – DENVER, CO FEB 2000 (INCEPTION) TO OCT 2008
Jabber, Inc. (acquired by Cisco Systems, Inc. in October 2008) was a leading provider of highly
scalable, secure and interoperable presence and messaging platform software solutions. Prior to
acquisition, Jabber’s annual revenues were approximately $14 million.
Chief Financial Officer, Vice President Operations & Secretary (May 2005 to Oct 2008)
Promoted to position in May 2005 as key member of turnaround management team; completed
successful acquisition by Cisco. Responsible for all aspects of financial operations; directed IT,
human resources, procurement and office facilities operations; partnered with CEO on all phases
of business. Conducted meetings of the board of directors and worked closely with investors.
Chaired 401K plan investment committee and served as plan administrator.
