Superintendent managing up to 75 framers constructing a five story wood frame apartment complex (The

Crescent Club - 257,000 sf.) located in downtown New Orleans. Responsible for scheduling labor and

materials, safety adherence, verification of proper construction and generation of punch list items. Liaison

between framers and general contractor, Gibbs Construction. * Senior Project Manager for $40.3

million dollar - 204 unit /17 building apartment complex in New Orleans East. Responsible for

scheduling, quality control, payroll and safety compliance. Liaison between all subcontractors and general

contractor Walton Construction. * Estimated and prepared bid packages for 7 commercial jobs ranging

from 1.2 to 4.6 million dollars. * Builder of 14 low income homes through the Federal Housing and

Urban Development’s H.O.M.E program.

Responsible for all facets of raw land design development and due diligence, construction, final platting,

year-end bond release and homeowner’s associations’ turnover for 8 subdivisions. In 18 months, developed and

recorded 657 lots in 7 subdivisions. Established budgets and schedules, initiated new company competitive bid

process, awarded contracts, monitored quality control, assured code compliance and performed lot turnover

process to builders.

D. R. HORTON / TORREY HOMES - Atlanta, GA.

Land Entitlement and Development Manager APRIL 1997 – OCT. 2003

Developed and final platted over 1,700 lots in 13 different subdivisions including their entry monuments /

amenities areas. Responsible for overseeing: Engineering design and plan approval, surveying, county

permitting and inspections, site clearing and timbering; grading, dam rehabilitation, sewer, storm, water, curb,

paving, power, gas, cable, phone, erosion control and landscaping installation; pool and pool houses, tennis

courts, amphitheater, nature trails, boat docks, soccer and baseball field construction. Developments were located

in Henry, Clayton, Newton, DeKalb, Fulton, Forsyth and Gwinnett Counties, along with the cities of Atlanta,

Decatur, Alpharetta, and Roswell. Average development cost 4.2 million dollars.

ASHWOOD DEVELOPMENT - Atlanta, GA.

Dev. Mgr/Home Builder/Commercial Renovator NOV. 1995 – APRIL 1997

Responsible for due diligence, budgets, scheduling, quality control, safety and closeout of an 84 unit apartment

complex including all development and home construction. Constructed three (3) $1 million dollar plus homes,

two of which were the company owners’ personal residences. Responsible for renovation of historic school

buildings into office space (including demolition and asbestos abatement) in the Virginia Highlands area in

Atlanta, Georgia.

HIGHLAND HOMES - Atlanta, GA

Home Builder/Area Manager MARCH 1990 – NOV 1995

Personally built over 140 homes in the Atlanta metro area / complete builder responsibilities included initial

customer interaction and introduction, custom design generation, contract negotiations and approval of sale /

coordinated all facets of custom home construction from clearing of the lot to year-end subdivision bond

acquisition. Held all area managers’s responsibilities covering 7 active and 5 warranted subdivisions across

northern metro Atlanta. Managed all builders, assistant builders, warranty service techs and sales agents for this

area.
