and processes into both the manufacturing and test lab environments. Has worked as
Manufacturing Engineer, Test Engineer and Controls Engineer for a number of well-known
companies including Hutchinson Technology, Wagner Spray Tech, Medtronic and Seagate thus
building diverse work experiences and a well-rounded technical background.
Considerable experience in areas such as special equipment, requirements planning and
specification, design, construction, scheduling, installing, testing and tracking job costs. While at
Seagate, was responsible for the design, programming, construction and installation and
performance of 400 computer-controlled machines in Minnesota and Malaysia. And, while at
Wagner, implemented a LabVIEW-based data acquisition system, requiring detailed software
requirements for the applications vendor and thorough testing against those requirements. Wrote
the user manual and trained lab personnel to use the application.
Successfully direct efforts of other engineers and technicians in implementing software
development and machine installation. Skilled in bringing the interests of diverse stakeholders
together to ensure buy-in and success.
Strong commitment to the value of continuous improvement and professional development as
evidenced by taking more than 25 courses at Hennepin Technical College. Areas of study pertain
to the manufacturing and business environment and include Programming, Data Base
Development and Queries, Computer Networks, CAD, CNC, Hydraulics and PLC programming.
