Interface. These metrics were carefully designed to measure and track the enterprise wide performance on different time

Responsibilities:
Followed SDLC approach for performing the requirement analysis, business requirement analysis, design, coding and
testing the GUI system and also worked in close association with the ETL team to ensure the flawless interfacing
between GUI and reporting tables along with the business requirements.
Implemented the GUI design in development phase using IBM Websphere and also designed and created the Oracle
database which stored the information which was the backbone for GUI navigation.
Performed unit testing on all the Classes, actions, services and JSP’s before handing over the ‘Web solution’ to the

Responsibilities:
Designed and Implemented an Automated Airline Reservation system using Java, MS Access database, Apache
Tomcat on a Windows platform. The system was developed in two phases, the first phase was a Java Applet and the
second phase required to create an Intranet that operates between an RMI Server and number of internal clients
within the Airline system where the clients were implemented as Java application programs.
The RMI server could communicate over the Internet with web servers via http protocol but the clients could not
connect directly to the Internet but only via the RMI server.
A GUI was created using Java Servlets and JSP to allow the users to login into the system to perform various
activities like booking tickets, canceling reservations, editing reservations etc.

Indian Institute of Technology is recognized as one of the centers of academic excellence in the country. Implemented
an On-line education system for Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, India as an integral part for the software
implementation of the Distance Education Program launched in May 2003 by KReSIT.
Responsibilities:
Developed a system using JSP, Apache Tomcat, J2EE engine, POSTGRESQL database together on a Linux
platform for a Distance Education Program.
The system dealt with three basic actors’ viz. students, faculties and administrators who could login into the system
and access functionalities like online lectures, course materials online, change in examination dates, frequently
asked questions, and online quizzes.
The UML standards (Use cases, Sequence Diagrams, Collaboration Diagram) were followed and SRS and SDS
were created using Rational Rose. The SDLC approach was the guiding factor for the project.
