Program Manager: GSM / TDMA / CDMA and UMTS Project – New York & New Jersey June 2001 –

May 2007

Responsible for all phases of installation, configuration and troubleshooting of three major switching sites

to serve New York City and New Jersey’s ATT Wireless system for telecommunications giant Lucent

Technologies.

Set up three AT&T GSM switching ( MSC & BSS ) sites ( CORE ) and carried out upgrades to all

related subsystems.

Supervised software engineers in the implementation, operation and maintenance of various

network systems GSM and TDMA, NCDMA, WBCDMA and UMTS.

. Coordinated with company personnel, vendors and the customers to drive implementation, remove

roadblocks and ensure swift and timely delivery of equipment and services at reduced cost.

Arranged and supervised de-installation of older BSS equipment in all locations.

Instituted training program that improved team efficiency and productivity.

Program Director: GSM 900 MTNL Project – Mumbai, India February 2000 - April 2001

Managed turnkey installation of a $130 million GSM Wireless system in India for the Mahanagar

Telephone Nigam Limited, the local telecommunications provider, including provision of substantial

training and seminars to in-country staff in wireless systems, project management and system

implementation.

On Loan from Lucent Technologies Malaysia for 45 days to assist in the kick off of the project,

Customer requested I be permanently be assigned to the project till the Network was launched.

Set up three AT&T GSM switching ( MSC & BSS ) sites ( CORE ) and carried out upgrades to all

related subsystems

Hired and trained staff personnel, contractors and sub-contractors to carry out the

Implementation task to support the roll out of the entire Wireless network, with Data and Voice

Message Systems in Mumbai..

Supervised all Site Acquisition, installation and configuration, as well as design of the microwave

transmission system.

Completed installation of 46 cell sites in 40 days, five months ahead of a counterpart installation

in Delhi with a fraction of the manpower and cost.

Program Director: GSM 900 Finesse Project – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia May 1999 - February 2000

Selected to implement a $20 million GSM 900 expansion project for Celcom in Malaysia, including direct

supervision of the project team working in four geographic regions, coordination with vendors and

contractors and management of the project asset portfolio. Provided personal leadership, technical

coaching and mentoring to 82 employees working in several departments on different aspects of the

project.

Responsible for complete fiscal oversight, including tracking of billing, invoices and accounts

receivable payments, as well as equipment inventories, revenues, and other cash flow-impacting

items.

Successfully completed this installation under budget and on time, with strong customer

satisfaction.

Project Manager: GSM, DCS 1800 Pacific Link – Hong Kong December 1996 - April 1999

Drove all facets of timely completion of this $50 million wireless installation for Hong Kong telecom

provider Pacific Link through continuous coordination with project staff, vendors, contractors and

customers.

Set up one AT&T GSM switching ( MSC & BSS ) sites ( CORE ) and carried out upgrades to all

related subsystems

Supervised all Site Acquisition, installation and configuration, as well as design of the microwave

transmission system in support of the roll out of 146 Cell Sites.

Tracked all financial elements and assets with focus on fiscal conservatism and maximization of
