Worked as a User Experience Researcher with the SQL-Server User Experience team.

Conducted Analysis Service 2008 remote benchmark study as a principal researcher, result showed a significant improvement in

the performance of 2008 Analysis Services occurred from the earlier versions.

Determined tasks to benchmark features in collaboration with product managers, feature owners and architects for SQL-2008

resulted improvements in scenario planning for SQL-2011.

Designed task book, administered usability test and performed data analysis for SQL Report Builder 2.0 study. The result

showed users spent 33% of time unproductively, resulting in significant UI design changes.

Collaborated with principal researcher, designers and product managers in conducting the usability study for a multi server

instance migration tool using RITE methodology which resulted in significant changes in the information architecture of the UI,

presented a brown bag to the senior management with a recommendation of cognitive walkthrough evaluation for the next phase

of design.

Developed a virtual lab setup for conducting remote studies, pilot tested the lab which included remote unattended participants,

Monitoring end users’ privacy using iWatch web crawler December 2005 - December 2007

Developed a web crawler named “iWatch” using Java, designing iWatch database in MYSQL to serve as a source of basic

statistics on the state of privacy, security, and data collection practices on the web.

Mapped the crawled pages with links to geography totaling 618068 pages with 53605 domains, analyzed privacy

Relevant indicators like cookies, webbugs and popups using data mining techniques, 3 consecutive years of research results were

presented at Federal Trade Commissions Workshop (FTC), Washington D.C on November 2007.
